2000 - Dynamic Surface Water Maps of Canada from 1984-2023 Landsat Satellite Imagery - Annual Water Masks
This dataset contains new detailed surface water maps of Canada showing where and how often surface water has occurred at each location across Canada, and how it has changed from 1984-2023. Freely-available archived imagery from the Landsat series of satellites was used to map water at bi-weekly and annual time periods, and these time-series were used to create dynamic surface water maps at 30m spatial resolution across Canada.
This third party metadata element follows the Spatio Temporal Asset Catalog (STAC) specification.
