Ontario Road Network (ORN) Composite
The Ontario Road Network (ORN) Composite product is a segmented derivative of the ORN Road Net Element (ORNELEM) data class. You can use it for mapping and general spatial analysis. Road segment information includes: * addressing * full street name * alternate street name * speed limit * number of lanes * pavement status * road class * jurisdiction * route number * direction of traffic flow * shield type information The ORN is a provincewide geographic database of over 250,000 km of: * municipal roads * provincial highways * resource and recreational roads The ORN is the authoritative source of roads data for the Government of Ontario. This product is derived from the [ORN Road Net Element](https://geohub.lio.gov.on.ca/datasets/mnrf::ontario-road-network-orn-road-net-element/about) data class. It combines three types of geometry: * road elements * ferry connections * virtual roads This product also includes additional road feature layers including: * blocked passages * underpasses * toll points * structures
Line P Climatology (1956-2012)
Climatological monthly-mean temperature and salinity data were computed for each of the 27 Line P stations (https://www.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/science/data-donnees/line-p/index-eng.html). For any particular station, data were accepted as belonging to that station if the location was within 10 km of the intended station (or 24km at Ocean Station Papa, P26). Data were binned by month/year over all available data for each station up to and including 2012. Hence the time interval that the mean state was computed from starts between 1956 and 1960 and ends at the end of 2012. Standard deviations were computed for each month independently and at each 5-m depth bin and were estimated as the variability between different years for the month in question.

Manitoba Provincial Forests – Version 6
Manitoba's Provincial Forest Boundaries (version 6): There are currently 15 provincial forests totalling almost 22,000 km2. Attributes include the name of the provincial forest, the year it was established and its area. Detailed descriptions of Manitoba’s provincial forests are provided in the Provincial Forest Act Regulations.Manitoba's Provincial Forest B oundaries ( V ersion 6 ). Manitoba's provincial forests reserve certain areas in the province for perpetual growth of timber, preserve the forest cover thereon and provide for a reasonable use of all the resources that the forest lands contain. All Crown lands within a provincial forest are withdrawn from disposition, sale, settlement or occupancy, except under authority of the Forest Act . Before the Province of Manitoba was established, European settlers were promised 160 acres of free land if they lived on it and cleared it for agriculture. As a result, farms began replacing our southern forests. The federal government decided they must retain some forests for building material. In 1885 , they established Turtle Mountain, Spruce Woods and Riding Mountain (now a national park) as timber reserves. Duck Mountain and Porcupine Mountain followed in 1906. What started out as federal timber reserves 100 years ago have become our provincial forests of today. Manitoba has 15 provincial forests , totalling almost 22,000 sq. km . These forests are among the highest quality timber stands in the province. Today, our provincial forests are much more than reserves for timber. They are also places for wildlife, recreation and research. Control of Manitoba's forests was transferred from the federal to the provincial governments in 1930. Provincial forests are Crown lands owned by the people of Manitoba. The feature class name (BDY_MB_PROV_FOREST_PY) components include: 1. ISO 19115 Topic Category Name (BDY for boundary); 2. The Ontario Hydro Network (OHN) is a provincial medium scale originating from data with regional scales of 1: 10,000 in Southern Ontario, 1: 20,000 in Northern Ontario and 1: 50,000 in the Far North. The shoreline is taken from the OHN - Waterbody data class. This data is used for cartographic purposes and web mapping services. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software. Manitoba Licence Personal Care Homes
Feature point layer of the 124 Licence personal care homes (PCHs) in Manitoba.This is a feature point layer of the 124 licensed personal care homes (PCHs) in Manitoba. All licensed PCHs in Manitoba are required to comply with minimum standards of care as set out in the Personal Care Home Standards Regulation under the Health Services Insurance Act. The Licensing and Compliance Branch of Manitoba Health Seniors and Active Living monitors compliance through regular review processes. PCH operators are required to take the necessary steps to address concerns identified in the course of reviews within specified time lines and must provide status updates until concerns have been addressed. PCH licences are reviewed and renewed annually and review findings are used to inform decision-making. The dataset includes the following fields (Alias (Name): Description) Regional Health Authority (Regional_Health_Authority): The name of the Regional Health Authority in which the facility is located. Community (Community): The name of the community in which the facility is located. Facility (Facility): The name of the licensed personal care home. Facility Key (Facility_Key): Primary key used to query records in the Summary Reviews table. Facility Label (Facility_Label): An abbreviated facility name suitable for use as a label in a map. Address (Address): The street address of the facility. Postal Code (Postal_Code): The postal code for the facility. Phone Number (Phone_Number): The phone number for the facility. Proprietary Status (Proprietary_Status): Refers to the ownership of the facility, either Proprietary or Non-proprietary. Language (Language): The designated language of the facility, either English or Bilingual. Bed (Beds): The number of beds in the facility. Status of Licence (Status_of_Licence): The status of the facility’s license. Possible values are Unencumbered, Under Review, or With Conditions. Owner/Operator (Owner_Operator): The individual or company that owns the facility. Website (Website): The URL for the website of the facility. Latitude (Latitude): The latitudinal coordinate in decimal degrees. Longitude (Longitude): The longitudinal coordinate in decimal degrees. This feature point layer forms part of the data for the Manitoba Personal Care Home Reporting app.
