Productive Forest Landbase for the Cariboo Region
Productive forest land base is defined as the total Crown forest area, determined by subtracting the following from the total area of the Cariboo Natural Resource Region: * All non-Crown land * All Crown land committed to non-timber use through a Land Act designation * All non-forest Crown Land, and * All forest area classified as brush or non-commercial cover in the Forest Inventory. Forest Tenure Free Use Permit
This is a spatial layer showing Ministry of Forests Free Use Permits. These are permits issued by the Ministry that authorize the permittee to cut and use Crown timber without charge. The permit is confined to a small area and for short durations of time.
TANTALIS - Crown Land Leases
TA_CROWN_LEASES_SVW - A Crown Land Lease is a type of land tenure issued under the Land Act. The tenure holder is granted the exclusive use and enjoyment of the area. The tenure holder also has the right to exclude or charge the public for use of the land and/or improvements, when this is consistent with the terms of the lease. Crown Leases require a (cadastral) survey prior to issuance
Canada Land Inventory (CLI) 1:1,000,000 - Land Limitation for Agriculture
The Canada Land Inventory (CLI), 1:000,000, Land Limitation for Agriculture dataset illustrates the varying potential of a specific area for agricultural production. Classes of land capability for agriculture are based on mineral soils grouped according to their potential and limitations for agricultural use. The classes indicate the degree of limitation imposed by the soil in its use for mechanized agriculture. The subclasses indicate the kinds of limitations that individually or in combination with others, are affecting agricultural land use. Characteristics of the soil as determined by soil surveys.

Aggregate Designated Area
This spatial dataset represents the boundaries of areas designated under the [Aggregate Resources Act, R.S.O 1990](https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/90a08) where a licence or permit is required for aggregate extraction. Under the Act, all aggregate operations must be licensed on private land or permitted on Crown land. Use our interactive [Pits and Quarries map](https://www.ontario.ca/page/find-pits-and-quarries) to find aggregate designated areas and authorized sites.
Land Licences
Land under administration and control of Government of Yukon and disposed of by the Department of Energy, Mines and Resources (EMR), Land Management Branch in the form of active licences of occupation. A licence grants permission to do something which without the licence would not be allowable. Land Management Branch licences typically permit the construction and maintenance of power, telephone, water or sewer utilities on Commissioner's land. Licences of occupation are linear in nature and often extend long distances, hence the requirement for a separate feature class.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) .
