NB School Boundaries
This dataset defines school attendance boundaries by school, grade level, and program. Each record represents a specific school boundary that defines the area from which students are eligible to attend a school, based on grade level and program type.A single school may have multiple boundaries depending on the grades served and the educational programs offered.Data Fields:The dataset includes the following fields:• DistrictID - Unique identifier for the school district• SchoolID - Unique identifier for the school • SchoolName - Official name of the school• SchBounId - Unique identifier within the district for the school boundary• SchBounDes - Boundary description• Program - Educational program associated with the boundary• Grade - Grade or range of grades served by the boundaryAdditional Notes:• One school can be associated with multiple boundary records.• Boundaries may differ by grade level, program type, or both.• This school boundary dataset is provided “as is” and is intended for general informational purposes only. While reasonable efforts are made to ensure accuracy, the data may not reflect the most current school boundaries. School attendance areas are subject to change. The applicable school district is the final authority on all school boundary determinations.
The Canadian Ecumene (CanEcumene) 3.0 GIS Database
“Ecumene” is a term used by geographers, meaning “inhabited lands.” Populated places in the ecumene database are referenced using natural boundaries, as opposed to administrative or census boundaries, and provide a more suitable means for integrating socio-economic data with ecological and environmental data in a region.The Canadian Ecumene GeoDatabase 3.0 includes the custom boundaries for more than 3,000 populated areas across Canada, many of which were derived from remote-sensing “night-lights” imagery. Each ecumene place has a corresponding set of attributes pertaining to place name, province, ecozone, indigenous communities, and other descriptive information, as well as an initial custom set of demographic variables derived from Statistics Canada Census and National Household Survey data for 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2016. Terrain contours (TRNCNT) is a vector delineation of areas of equivalent elevation, in 5 m classes, as contour lines.Download: Here The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, Forest Service Branch, has developed a forest resource inventory (FRI) which meets a variety of strategic and operational planning information needs for the boreal plains. Such needs include information on the general land cover, terrain, and growing stock (height, diameter, basal area, timber volume and stem density) within the provincial forest and adjacent forest fringe. This inventory provides spatially explicit information as 10 m or 20 m raster grids and as vectors polygons for relatively homogeneous forest stands or naturally non-forested areas with a 0.5 ha minimum area and a 2.0 ha median area. Terrain contours (TRNCNT) is a vector delineation of areas of equivalent elevation, in 5 m classes, as contour lines.
