The Ontario Vector Topographic Data Cache is a collection of topographic data, that has been preprocessed for fast, seamless display at predefined scales. The topographic data includes constructed and natural features that make up Ontario’s landscape. The cache provides limited data from areas outside Ontario’s boundaries, such as the United States and adjacent provinces and territories. __Technical information__ Two versions of the Topographic Data Cache are available: 1. The traditional raster version is available for a variety of GIS applications and is updated annually. 2. The vector version is suitable for online web map applications as well as modern GIS software and is updated twice a year. Contributing data layers may have different maintenance and update cycles. Some cache layers have been processed in a way that makes it easier for them to be displayed in a mapping product. Other layers are unchanged from the authoritative data. The cartographic symbology used in the data cache is intentionally muted to allow users to showcase their data. The Ontario Vector Topographic Data Cache is created from many source datasets, which are described in the Ontario Vector Topographic Data Cache user guide. Regions of like magnetic intensity and/or structural texture have been interpreted from new aeromagnetic data collected for the Athabasca Basin and surrounding environs. Interpretations were made using a variety of presentations of the primary data including total magnetic intensity (TMI), 1st vertical derivative of TMI, horizontal derivative of TMI, automatic gain control of TMI and tilt derivative. Where possible, the interpreted domains extend the aeromagnetic response from older rocks that flank the basin beneath rocks of the Athabasca Group. The purpose of this layer is to provide end users with a spatial representation of the Designated Areas in adopted Development Plans and their consolidated amendments in Manitoba. It also allows users of the data to undertake a variety of land use planning analyses based on Development Plan Designations. This layer is intended to be a source of data delivery as well as usage in situ.This dataset is comprised of boundary geometry representing the Development Plan Designations for all of the Development Plan bylaws (as defined in The Planning Act) in force and effect within the Province of Manitoba. Spatial referencing of the designations is based on the best available land parcel data for each municipality. Where available, land parcel data based on registered survey plans and ground control coordinates was used. Otherwise, the reference grid maintained by Manitoba Sustainable Development was used. The delineation of the boundaries is set by the bylaw establishing or amending the boundary of each designation. Dataset content is subject to: Ongoing changes in designated areas which are determined by amendments to adopted Development Plans or the adoption of new Development Plans. Ongoing development and maintenance of the land parcel datasets. Improvements to the land parcel data are used to improve the positional accuracy of the Development Plan designation polygons. As of the publication date of this dataset, the following known issues remain: For designation boundaries that include water boundaries, the water boundary that best reflects the intended designation boundary was used. In some instances, road allowances on a municipal boundary are included in both of the adjoining municipalities. These structure, isopach and zero edge files are part of a series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project.The series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project have been produced using 2 km equi-spaced modified grids generated from Golden Software’s Surfer 9 kriging algorithm. The dataset used to produce each of the maps in this series was created using data from several projects completed by the Ministry (Christopher, 2003; Saskatchewan Industry and Resources et al., 2004; Kreis et al., 2004; Marsh and Heinemann, 2006; Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources et al., 2007; Heinemann and Marsh, 2009); these data were validated and edited as required to facilitate correlations between the various regional projects. In addition, to minimize edge effects during contouring, the senior author also generated stratigraphic data from wells in adjacent jurisdictions.
