The Canadian Gravity Anomaly Data Base consists of approximately 660 000 gravity observations, including 165 000 on land, acquired between 1944 and the present. The data spacing ranges from less than 1 km to over 20 km, with an average spacing between 5 and 10 km. All measurements were reduced to the IGSN71 datum. Theoretical gravity values were calculated from the Geodetic Reference System 1967 (GRS67) gravity formula. Bouguer anomalies were calculated using a vertical gravity gradient of 0.3086 mGal·m-1 and a crustal density of 2 670 kg·m-3.

This feature class identifies active areas designated for personal use woodcutting where harvesting dead or downed fuelwood can occur for purposes such as home heating. Certain areas have seasonal restrictions or additional terms and conditions. A forest resources permit is required to cut in these areas; this free permit authorizes a limit of 25m 3 (11 cords) of firewood. One of the spatial views of the BC WATERSHED ATLAS 50K, which is the digital basemap representation of the aquatic Man-made waterbodies, Wetlands and Double-line Rivers based on the 1:50,000 scale Canadian National Topographic Series of Maps.

This dataset is produced for the Government of Alberta and is available to the general public. Note that the distribution contact is different for the general public than for Government of Alberta ministries. Please consult the Distribution Information of this metadata for the appropriate contact to acquire this dataset. The National Topographic System of Canada (NTS) is a national mapping reference grid defined by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) that is based on degrees of latitude and longitude. Starting at the Prime Meridian and at the Equator, the 1:50 000 grid is formed by intersecting every 1/4 degree of the meridians with every 1/2 degrees of parallels. It can also true that the standard 1:250 000 NTS block is broken down into 16 1:50 000 blocks that a numbered south to north alternating east to west then west to east from one to 16. Each polygon in the grid is designated with a two digit number. a single letter and two additional numbers (Example 83H08). The province of Alberta is covered by 670 complete and 131 partially complete 1:50 000 NTS blocks.

This dataset provides the location of Yukon's education facilities ranging from elementary to post-seondary education. Wildlife Key Areas (WKA) are locations used by wildlife for critical, seasonal life functions. WKAs are identified by interpreting observed locations of wildlife at key times of year, not through intensive habitat assessment. Polygons derived from interviews with locals and from GIS interpretation of wildlife/habitat surveys. GIS interpretation follows criteria specific for taxon and/or populations of taxon. Key Areas are based on observed locations of wildlife at key times of year, not on habitat assessment. With new information, boundaries and designations of Key Areas can change and additional Key Areas can be identified. Furthermore, Key Areas are not the only sites important for wildlife. Other information sources can identify other sites important for wildlife for reasons outside the scope of the WKA Inventory Program. Updates to Key Areas occur only periodically.
