Agricultural Land Parcels - Surveyed
This layer shows surveyed parcels that fall under the Agricultural Development Area Regulations or are within an agricultural zone as defined in one of the Development Area Regulations ( [Find zoning maps for Yukon communities \| Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/en/find-zoning-maps-yukon-communities) ). The field "Title Description" indicates if the parcels is titled to private, a government entity (commissioner, community or federal) or untitled. shíshálh Nation - Legally Defined Administrative Areas of BC
The __shíshálh Nation__ contains legally defined areas of land within the Province of British Columbia over which the shíshálh Nation exercises self-government, including the administration of resources and services available to its members, as described in the shíshálh Nation Self-Government Act of 1986. This spatial layer contains multipart features. Note that the name of the spatial layer is outdated; after the notification of retirement of the layer has been circulated the dataset will be recreated with the correct name. The source data for the geometry of the parcels was the federal "GeoBase - Aboriginal Lands" dataset, available under OGL - Canada. Parcels were adjusted to match provincial base mapping features, following the metes and bounds descriptions in the Letters Patent. Sites Registry (Open Government Licence)
This dataset is a subset of the Sites Registry dataset. The Sites Registry is a collection of locations that are important to government carrying out its business, including sharing information with citizens. Most locations have civic addresses and are government offices or facilities, e.g. hospitals, schools, post-secondary institutions, court houses, tourism centres. It is comprised of all sites licensed under the Open Government Licence – British Columbia. Mineral Restrictions
A mineral restriction is in place to limit and define mineral exploration and development within the Alberta government's mandate to protect natural or historical sites and to manage mineral resources. Examples of mineral restrictions include Bird Sanctuary, Provincial Park, and Coal Mine Licence Area. Restriction types with different levels of surface access are the result of government policy and all are mineral or substance specific.
Local Area Plans
The boundaries are established from either Land Claims Final Agreement, Self Government Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding, Local Advisory Area, or from a signed document between Yukon Government and First Nation. An Order in Council is prepared and the new boundary comes into effect. Older LAP's and Community Plans were approved by YG Minister and Cabinet as a policy document. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL provides the information of road blocked passage to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Road Network.BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL, This layer contains data for a structure indicating a physical barrier on a Road Element built to prevent or control further access. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL contains all the blocked passage points in the Saskatchewan. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL is an important part of the Saskatchewan road network dataset. Each point geometry " BLKPASSAGE" has unique Identifiers (NID). "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users.
Local and Regional Greenspaces
This dataset contains spatial and attribute information for local and regional greenspaces in British Columbia. Local and regional greenspaces are municipal or regional district lands designated by local government agencies and managed for public enjoyment, ecosystem or wildlife values. Spatial boundaries were sourced from municipal and regional district web sites, which in some cases provide datasets under Open Government Licence, and in other cases, publicize parks and greenspaces on web maps or pdf maps. Boundaries were edge-matched to the ParcelMap BC cadastre. This spatial layer contains multipart polygons.
Oil and Gas Road Right of Way Permits
Land authorizations representing the road right of way for road activities. The spatial data includes polygon data for approved and post-construction road rights of way collected on or after October 30, 2006. This dataset is updated nightly.
HRDPS Forecasted Accumulated Precipitation 24 hrs view
This polygon layer showcases ultra-fine (2.5 km) short-range precipitation forecasts from the High Resolution Deterministic Prediction System (HRDPS), a convection-permitting model by Environment and Climate Change Canada. It identifies local-scale rainfall or snowfall patterns up to 48 hours, supporting urban flood forecasting, severe weather response, and detailed water resource planning.Convection-Permitting: The HRDPS can explicitly resolve thunderstorms and other small-scale weather events by running at ~2.5 km. Short-Range Focus: Typically provides forecasts out to 36–48 hours, updated several times daily. Local Impact: Valuable for pinpointing high-impact precipitation in complex terrain or urban environments, aiding emergency managers and hydrologists in short-lead-time decisions. Nested Model: Receives lateral boundary conditions from RDPS, maintaining consistency with regional forecasts while refining detail in local domains.
