The Ontario Dam Inventory (ODI) is an inventory of medium and large dams throughout Ontario. It uses a point-based system (x, y location) to identify each dam location. The ODI does not contain: * small dams * small water control structures * beaver dams * water crossings * road embankments * locks * falls * rapids * culverts Each dam location has an identifier that can be used to link to other dam information databases.

Most of these events involved community evacuations, significant structural loss and/or involvement of a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Emergency Response Officer. Events include those assigned to MNR by an Order-In-Council under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act as well as events where MNR provided requested emergency response assistance. These events fall into one of ten type categories: * dam failure * drought /low water * erosion * flood * forest fire * soil and bedrock instability * Petroleum Resource Center event * EMO requested assistance * continuity of operations event * other requested assistance This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

“4VSW” missions focus on the eastern half of the Scotian Shelf, and occur primarily in March, but sets in both February, and April are also present in the data. These missions use a unique stratification scheme intended to optimize the abundance estimates of cod. Collected data includes total catch in numbers and weights by species. Length frequency data is available for most species, as are the age, sex, maturity and weight information for a subset of the individual animals. Sealion rafting areas. CRIMS is a legacy dataset of BC coastal resource data that was acquired in a systematic and synoptic manner from 1979 and was intermittently updated throughout the years. Resource information was collected in nine study areas using a peer-reviewed provincial Resource Information Standards Committee consisting of DFO Fishery Officers, First Nations, and other subject matter experts. There are currently no plans to update this legacy data.

Hydro Features is composed of the network of Canadian surface waters. Hydro Features entities are: Watercourse, Water Linear Flow, Hydro Obstacle (falls, rapids\...), Waterbody (lake, watercourse\...), Permanent Snow and Ice, Water Well, and Spring. CanVec is a digital cartographic reference product of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). It originates from the best available data sources covering Canadian territory, offers quality topographical information in vector format, and complies with international geomatics standards.
