The DND Military Base dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Military Bases established for the Department of National Defence, Government of Canada, within the Province of Alberta. A Military Base is an area owned by the Department of National Defence, Government of Canada where various military activities occur.

This data contains the memorials and monuments located in communities across the country. Currently, more than 8,000 memorials are included in this data. This data is regularly updated as we continue to receive information on Canadian military memorials.
The World
This cartographic digital product is derived from the Atlas of Canada's wall map "The World" (MCR 0046) and "Le monde" (MCR 0046F) published in 2021.The World is a general reference political map focused on the names and international boundaries of sovereign and non-sovereign countries. The information is portrayed using the Winkel II projection at a scale of 1:29 000 000. The dataset includes international boundaries, populated places, and labelled major hydrographic and physical features. In the geodatabase the representation of political boundaries do not necessarily reflect the position of the Government of Canada on all international issues of recognition, sovereignty or jurisdiction; some of the populated places have seasonal populations, while others are research or military bases with no permanent populations; and, there are no attribute information in the geodatabase for the labelled hydrographic and physical features.
Regional Information and Monitoring Network
The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) and Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) are publishing databases with effluent and environmental monitoring results from nuclear facilities located along the Ottawa River watershed as part of the Regional Information and Monitoring Network (RIMNet) for the Ottawa River Watershed Basin initiative. The facilities included are Chalk River Laboratories, Nordion Canada Inc., SRB Technologies Canada Inc., and Nuclear Power Demonstration Waste Facility. The initiative was developed to address questions and concerns expressed by members of the public and Indigenous Nations and communities about the availability of publicly accessible environmental monitoring data in the Ottawa River Watershed Basin. More information about the initiative is available here: https://www.cnsc-ccsn.gc.ca/eng/resources/environmental-protection/rimnet/ This dataset contains effluent and environmental monitoring results from Chalk River Laboratories, Nordion Canada Inc., SRB Technologies Canada Inc., and Nuclear Power Demonstration Waste Facility. All of the effluent and emissions releases to the environment in this dataset are below the CNSC licensed release limits. All of the environmental monitoring results in this dataset are below environmental quality guidelines. Geodesic points
This map shows the location of geodetic points in Quebec. It is available in the form of an interactive map and downloadable vector files. Canada groundwater wells, integrated national, provincial and territorial dataset
This layer comprises all the available water wells in GIN (Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador) and published through the open data platforms. This layer is a combination of all individual provincial and territorial layers. The original databases are dynamically converted by an automatic process managed by Natural Resources Canada (Groundwater Information Network).
Geological map of the Arctic, 1:5 000 000
As part of the International Polar Year (IPY) 2007'08 and 2008'09 activities, and related objectives of the Commission for the Geological Map of the World (CGMW), nations of the circumpolar Arctic have co-operated to produce a new bedrock geology map and related digital map database at a scale of 1:5 000 000. The map, released in north polar stereographic projection using the World Geodetic System (WGS) 84 datum, includes complete geological and physiographic coverage of all onshore and offshore bedrock areas north of latitude 60° north.
Atlas of Canada - Base Maps Scale 1:2,000,000 - Newfoundland and Labrador [ARCHIVED]
The Atlas of Canada Base Maps provide coverage of the entire Canadian landmass. Data elements are feature coded and structurally clean. Base map components are available in five scales and a number of data exchange formats. The 1:2 million and 1:7.5 million scales are the primary bases for all Atlas products. The 1:30 million scale data have been generalized from the two larger scales. The data set covers: drainage (coastlines, rivers, lakes), boundaries (federal, provincial, district, dividing lines), transportation (primary and secondary highways, selected ferry routes, rail networks), populated places, national parks. Atlas information is two-dimensional layered vector data.
