Snow Survey Administrative Basin Areas
Snow survey administrative basin areas, which are components of the BC snow survey network. Basin codes are used as basis of snow survey station names, and for some reporting purposes.
Oak Ridges Moraine: land use designations
This dataset was created to provide land use information on the Oak Ridges Moraine and is the basis for Ontario Regulation 140/02. The data was digitized at 1:10,000 or better using 0.5 metre air photos, MNR, DMTI, Upper and Lower-tier Official Plans and digital vector layers.
Land contour
Includes: * contour land * contour land approximate * contour land auxiliary/interpolated * contour land depression In southern Ontario the contour interval is 5 meters. In the near north the contour interval is 10 meters. In the Far North the contour interval depends on the information source. Data is collected on an irregular basis.
Petroleum wells
The locations of wells that have been drilled for oil production, gas or salt resources or for underground storage of hydrocarbons. This data can be used for land use and resource management, emergency management, as well as compliance and enforcement in the petroleum industry. The Data is collected on an on-going basis and maintained in the Ontario Petroleum Data System (OPDS).
Fisheries Management Zone
Fisheries Management Zones have replaced former Fishing Divisions and are the geographic basis for managing, monitoring, assessing and regulating recreational fisheries for a majority of lakes and streams in a zone. Each zone is based on angler usage and ecological/geographic patterns such as climate zones, watersheds and road networks. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
Lot fabric improved
The spatial accuracy of the lot fabric for some townships has been improved through the Ontario Parcel, Township Realignment and Township Improvement projects. Improvements to the fabric may include: * road allowance widths * spatial changes to better represent the location of lot boundaries * more consistent concession names. Data is collected on an on-going basis. The time period "end date" may be more recent than indicated here.
Crop (corn) heat units
Crop Heat Units (CHU) are calculated on a daily basis, using the maximum and minimum temperatures in order to account for a crop’s negative response to higher temperatures. The formula used to calculate the CHU value for a day is: (1.8 × (Minimum Temperature − 4.4) + 3.33 × (Maximum Temperature − 10) − 0.084 × (Maximum Temperature − 10)²) ÷ 2.0CHU values are only accumulated during the Growing Season, April 1 through October 31.
Structure Form Lines
This dataset shows the location of the distribution of structure form lines for the Province of Saskatchewan. This dataset shows the structure form lines for the Province of Saskatchewan and is designed for the Resource Map of Saskatchewan. Mapping in support of the dataset includes years of field observations which were then compiled and integrated into this dataset. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
TOLLPOINT OFFICIAL
TOLLPOINT _OFFICIAL is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The TOLLPOINT _OFFICIAL provides the information of road Toll Points to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Road Network.TOLLPOINT _OFFICIAL, This layer contains data about a place where a right-of-way is charged to gain access to a motorway, a bridge, etc. TOLLPOINT _OFFICIAL contains all the Toll Point locations in the Saskatchewan. TOLLPOINT _OFFICIAL is an important part of the Saskatchewan road network dataset. Each point geometry " TOLLPOINT" has unique Identifiers (NID). "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users.
BLKPASSAGE OFFICIAL
BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL provides the information of road blocked passage to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Road Network.BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL, This layer contains data for a structure indicating a physical barrier on a Road Element built to prevent or control further access. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL contains all the blocked passage points in the Saskatchewan. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL is an important part of the Saskatchewan road network dataset. Each point geometry " BLKPASSAGE" has unique Identifiers (NID). "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users.
