Built-Up Areas are man-made land cover features, ranging from small hamlets at rural cross roads to large cities. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

The built boundary identifies built-up urban areas across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. It is a fixed line that reflects what was built and on the ground when the Growth Plan came into effect in June 2006. The boundaries are an important implementation and monitoring tool for the Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe. The built boundary will allow the province and others to measure intensification and redevelopment within the built-up area, and also allow us to monitor suburban development outside the built-up area. Provincial and Municipal Dikes in ManitobaDikes have been built to prevent flooding of communities and specific areas during runoff and flood events. This layer demonstrates the location of many provincial- and municipal-owned dikes in Manitoba; Elevations have been provided where they are known, and noted as “elevation under review” where they are uncertain. 

Depicts the internal boundaries of the Niagara Escarpment Plan area. Area Based Management Plans (ABMP) are designated areas for the purposes of environmental protection. It must consider the impact of point and non-point source of waste, cumulative impact of the wastes, environmental management objectives and outcomes for the designated area, and ongoing monitoring and reporting.

The BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL provides the information of road blocked passage to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Road Network.BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL, This layer contains data for a structure indicating a physical barrier on a Road Element built to prevent or control further access. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL contains all the blocked passage points in the Saskatchewan. BLKPASSAGE_OFFICIAL is an important part of the Saskatchewan road network dataset. Each point geometry " BLKPASSAGE" has unique Identifiers (NID). "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users.

This point-layer shows the locations of components that make up facilities (Facilities are stored in another layer). Examples of facility components are barbeques, picnic tables, benches, or kiosks. See the Comp domain for a complete list. NOTE: Although some of the items in the domain appear to be activities, they are actually physical entities that appear within a facility. An Integrated Survey Area is an administrative area within which a British Columbia Land Surveyor is required to integrate cadastral surveys with a network of control monuments under the Integrated Survey Area. Tantalis is an information system designed specifically for the needs of the complex workings of Crown Land Registry and to provide automated support for all aspects of Crown land administration. It was designed to provide a foundation for integrating spatial data associated with mapping of survey plans and administrative boundaries with attribute data associated with legal documents and administrative records. The system records and tracks the sale, survey, license, access, return, and restriction of Crown land in British Columbia. This new system introduced the capacity for further applications, to revolutionize access and processing of Crown land information
