Mule Deer Winter Range Habitat Management Zones - Cariboo Region
Mule deer habitat management zones and associated timber harvest opportunities within mule deer winter range in the Cariboo Region.
Stand Structure Habitat Classes in Mule Deer Winter Range - Cariboo Region
Stand structure habitat classes associated with mule deer winter range in the Cariboo Region.
Mule Deer Winter Range Topographic Buffers - Cariboo Region
Topographic buffers within mule deer winter range in the Cariboo Region.
Slope/Aspect Habitat Type Limitations in Mule Deer Winter Range – Cariboo Region
Slope/Aspect habitat type limitations (high, moderate, low) in mule deer winter range within the Cariboo Region. These limitations apply only to interior douglas fir (IDF) and bunch grass biogeoclimatic zones within mule deer winter range.
Red River Isopach
These structure, isopach and zero edge files are part of a series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project. The series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project have been produced using 2 km equi-spaced modified grids generated from Golden Software’s Surfer 9 kriging algorithm. The dataset used to produce each of the maps in this series was created using data from several projects completed by the Ministry (Christopher, 2003; Saskatchewan Industry and Resources et al., 2004; Kreis et al., 2004; Marsh and Heinemann, 2006; Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources et al., 2007; Heinemann and Marsh, 2009); these data were validated and edited as required to facilitate correlations between the various regional projects. In addition, to minimize edge effects during contouring, the senior author also generated stratigraphic data from wells in adjacent jurisdictions.
National Parks and National Park Reserves of Canada Legislative Boundaries
The National Parks and National Park Reserves of Canada Legislative Boundaries web service includes the following lands: 1) National Parks of Canada as defined in Schedule 1 of the Canada National Parks Act, 2) National Park Reserves of Canada as defined in Schedule 2 of the Canada National Parks Act, 3) Rouge National Urban Park as defined in the Rouge National Urban Park Act and 4) Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park as defined in the Saguenay-St. Lawrence Marine Park Act.The Data available for download is the former National Framework Canada Lands Administrative Boundaries Level 1 product. There are some attribute differences between the data available for download and the web service; however both contain the same underlying data. Please refer to the Supporting Documents for additional information on the National Framework Canada Lands Administrative Boundaries Level 1 dataset. Work is under way to align these two data products. As well, the Comprehensive Claims Settlement Areas have been removed from this dataset, but can be obtained from the Post-1975 Treaties (Modern Treaties) dataset produced by Indigenous and Northern Affairs Canada.
Manitoba Near-Urban Centrefire Prohibition Area
The purpose of this dataset is to show the Near-Urban Centrefire Prohibition Area (NUCPA) in Manitoba. The Near-Urban Centrefire Prohibition Area (NUCPA) is a provincially-regulated prohibition of centrefire rifles for white-tailed deer hunting. This prohibition encompasses all or portions of the Rural Municipalities (RMs) of Headingley, Rosser, Rockwood, St. Andrews, West St. Paul, East St. Paul, St. Clements and Richot. Under the General Hunting Regulation (351/87) of The Wildlife Act (c. W130), no person shall have a rifle requiring a centrefire cartridge in his or her possession while hunting deer in lands identified as a Near Urban Wildlife Zone on Plan No. 20350 or 20525 filed in the office of the Director of Surveys.Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description)FID (FID): sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generatedDescription (Description): definition and description of the Near-Urban Centrefire Prohibition AreaShape_Length (Shape_Length): length of the feature in internal unitsShape_Area (Shape_Area): area of the feature in internal units squared
Likelihood of Presence of Bluefin Tuna in Area Response Planning Pilot Areas
Bluefin tuna landings are reported to the Department of Fisheries and Oceans and stored in the Maritime Fishery Information System Database. This database was queried in January 2016 for all reported landings of Bluefin tuna in coastal Nova Scotia. Longline data was excluded due to location uncertainties associated with the gear. Bluefin tuna sightings are also reported opportunistically to the DFO Whale Sightings Database. The Coastal Oceanography and Ecosystem Research section considered these landings and sightings to estimate the presence of Bluefin tuna within the Area Response Plan areas. Bluefin tuna presence varies seasonally and this spatial information should be used in conjunction with temporal information.A version of this dataset was created for the National Environmental Emergency Center (NEEC) following their data model and is available for download in the Resources section.Cite this data as: Lazin, G., Hamer, A.,Corrigan, S., Bower, B., and Harvey, C.
