The spatial representation for a Pulpwood Agreement, which is a 25 year term agreement, replaceable every ten years, that allows the holder of a wood-fibre processing facility to harvest Crown pulp timber if sufficient quantities of raw material are not available to the holder from other sources. Covers a large area in one or more Timber Supply Areas or TFLs.

During negotiations of the Umbrella Final Agreement, Kluane First Nation (KFN) and White River First Nation (WRFN) began negotiations together under one organization, the Kluane Tribal Council, which submitted one map of a traditional territory (Boundary) on behalf of both KFN and WRFN. Attempts were made to reach agreement with KFN and WRFN on how the map should be divided between both groups. As a result, a “KFN Core Area”, “WRFN Core Area” and the “KFN-WRFN Core Areas” map was incorporated into the KFN Final Agreement.These regions are defined in Section 2 as Specific Provisions: Specific Provision"KFN Core Area" means the area identified as Kluane First Nation Core Area on Map Sheet "KFN-WRFN Core Areas", Appendix B – Maps, which forms a separate volume to this Agreement. Specific Provision "WRFN Core Area" means the area identified as White River First Nation Core Area on Map Sheet "KFN-WRFN Core Areas", Appendix B – Maps, which forms a separate volume to this Agreement. KFN signed its Final Agreement, obtaining Treaty Rights, in 2003. It does not include Treaty Land Entitlement (TLE) sites.The purpose of this dataset is to show Crown land parcels contained within formal flood compensation and other settlement agreements with specified First Nations (does not include Treaty Land Entitlement sites). The Crown lands are intended for transfer to the Government of Canada to be set apart as Reserve land. There are different categories/types of compensation lands noted in the various settlement agreements and every agreement has different provisions. Best efforts have been taken to reasonably illustrate the parcels within the dataset as set out in the respective agreements. All boundaries are to be considered approximate and for illustrative purposes only. The agreements provide for lands to be held by permit and/or certificate of title in the name of a community corporation, or set aside for traditional use. Surveyed Cadastral Framework for Yukon First Nations Settlement Lands and Tetlit Gwich'in Yukon Lands (settlement like) of the First Nations that have ratified their agreements. Settlement land is land identified in a First Nation's land claim agreement as settlement land of the first nation. There are three types of Settlement Land that a Yukon First Nation can own and manage: Category A: ownership of surface and subsurface; Category B: ownership of the surface only; Fee Simple (FS): private ownership. Note: Some surveys for Settlement Lands identified in their agreement are not yet complete therefore there may be parcels identified with the same land claim selection ID. The boundaries are established from either Land Claims Final Agreement, Self Government Agreement, Memorandum of Understanding, Local Advisory Area, or from a signed document between Yukon Government and First Nation. An Order in Council is prepared and the new boundary comes into effect. Older LAP's and Community Plans were approved by YG Minister and Cabinet as a policy document.
