The Natural Resources Conservation Board Service Area dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent Natural Resources Conservation Board Service Areas in Alberta. The dataset is the administrative boundary for the 4 regional offices of Natural Resources Conservation Board.

W130). Hunting and trapping prohibitions or restrictions are implemented in certain areas to ensure the conservation of species or enhance public safety. The dataset is to help Government of Alberta Staff and external consultants to determine which Biologist is responsible for and has authority over each region.

This boundary layer shows all Special Conservation Areas (SCA) in Manitoba.The purpose of this dataset is to show the boundaries of all Special Conservation Areas (SCA) in Manitoba, as designated by the Designation of Wildlife Lands Regulation (171/2001) under The Wildlife Act (C.C.S.M. c. W130). Special Conservation Areas are designated to conserve and protect particular species and habitats throughout Manitoba. The Use of Wildlife Lands Regulation (77/99) determines what activities are prohibited within each Special Conservation Area. This geospatial dataset contains the geographic boundaries of the 34 Public Health Units (PHUs) in Ontario, based on Statistics Canada’s Health Region Boundary File (2018). A PHU is the area of jurisdiction of a board of health. PHUs in Ontario are defined in Regulation 553 (Revised Regulations of Ontario), pursuant to Health Protection and Promotion Act R.S.O. 1990, Amended to O. Reg. 64/05.

A digital record of all Conservation Easements kept for planning purposes.This dataset represents all Conservation Easements registered with the Ministry of Environment. Clause 7(3) of the Conservation Easements Act indicates that for a CE to be in effect a copy of an executed CE must be provided to the Ministry. Receipt of this document is recorded in this Lands Branch database and an Agreement number is assigned sequentially. An interest, based on the CE, must also be registered with ISC. Currently these two datasets are not reconciled. Technical Details: Conservation Easements are meant to protect native habitat on lands in the Province. The boundaries of the native habitat protected under a CE may not coincident with the parcel boundaries. However, the CE is identified to the larger parcel boundary. It is this parcel identification the is reflected in this spatial dataset. The Agreement Number is included which identifies the filing number under which detailed information can be found in digital and hardcopy within the Lands Branch of the Ministry of Environment.

To identify the Greenbelt Area as defined by the Greenbelt Act, 2005. The outer boundaries of Greenbelt area includes the lands within: * Niagara Escarpment Plan * Oak Ridges Moraine Conservation Plan * Lands designated as Protected Countryside * Lands designated as Urban River Valley

Surveyed Borders are an Administrative Land Object that represents the spatial limits of a jurisdiction that is created and managed as a separate entity within the ICM database. In the original ICM dataset from NRCAN, this feature class is called Administrative Boundaries. Administrative Boundaries are available for the Yukon Territory, Northwest Territories and Nunavut and may include International, Provincial and Territorial boundaries. This cadastral framework provides a parcel base of properly structured vector data designed and suited for Geographical Information System (GIS) application and can be used for land management purposes. This data set is not be used for defining boundaries.
