North America Surface Water Values
The North America Surface Water Values point dataset contains the current water level and stream flow values as recorded by Canadian and USA hydrometric gauging station locations. Daily values are recorded as well as comparisons with historical measurements, including difference in values from the previous day, the mean level for that calendar date, the annual mean water level, and maximum and minumum recorded levels. Percentile values based on historical average for both water level and stream flow are also included.Real-time gauging station data for Canada is available here: https://wateroffice.ec.gc.ca/search/statistics_e.htmlReal-time gauging station data for the United States is available here: https://waterservices.usgs.gov/rest/Statistics-Service.html
Waterbodies - 250k - Canvec
Hydro Features is composed of the network of Canadian surface waters. Hydro Features entities are: Watercourse, Water Linear Flow, Hydro Obstacle (falls, rapids\...), Waterbody (lake, watercourse\...), Permanent Snow and Ice, Water Well, and Spring. CanVec is a digital cartographic reference product of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). It originates from the best available data sources covering Canadian territory, offers quality topographical information in vector format, and complies with international geomatics standards. CanVec is a multi-source product coming mainly from the National Topographic Data Base (NTDB), the Mapping the North process conducted by the Canada Center for Mapping and Earth Observation (CCMEO), the Atlas of Canada data, the GeoBase initiative, and the data update using satellite imagery coverage (e.g. Landsat 7, Spot, Radarsat, etc.).Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Hydrometric Monitoring Stations
A station is a site on a river or lake where water quantity (water level and flow) are collected and recorded.

AFETUW Regulated Stream Network
AFETUW (Alberta Flow Estimation Tool for Ungauged Watersheds) is a rapid assessment tool used to estimate natural flows during the open water season (April-October) in ungauged watersheds. The AFETUW Regulated Stream Network GIS layer is a copy of the ArcHydro Phase II Provincial stream network with several added attribute fields. Attributes are set by the Regional Hydrologists to control the ungauged stream flow options administrated by the AFETUW Development Team for any stream reach or segment or for multiple streams within any defined area. The “Regulate” field is used to specify stream reaches that are regulated by an upstream control structure such as a dam. For a regulated stream, AFETUW flow estimation cannot be applied although a watershed boundary can still be delineated. This data layer can be viewed via AFETUW webapp at https://afetuw.alberta.ca/
