The data represents the relative expense of farm chemicals (herbicides, insecticides and fungicides) in the agricultural area of Alberta. It is an estimate of the degree to which crop production agriculture may contribute to surface or groundwater contamination.Agriculture production that makes greater use of herbicides, insecticides and pesticides in generally considered more intensive. Presenting the relative farm chemical expenses by SLC polygons reveals where the most intensive agricultural production in the province occurs. Chemical use is part of an equation to determine a measure of surface water quality risk. If an area is known to have certain risk factors that would affect not only surface, but groundwater quality as well, a higher chemical expense index ranking in that same area may be of concern. Where risks of surface or groundwater contamination exist, environmental farm planning can help to minimize them.

The data represents the relative expense of fertilizer and lime in the agricultural area of Alberta. It is an estimate of the degree to which agriculture may affect nutrient levels in surface and groundwater. The classes shown on the map are ranked between 0 (lowest) and 1 (highest).Mapping the relative values of fertilizer expenses by SLC polygon area is useful as an indication of where more fertilizer is applied in the province and as a proxy indicator for crop production.It also suggests the relative agricultural intensity in various parts of the province. This resource was created in 2002 using ArcGIS.

The Yukon Mining Assessment Report Footprints database contains over 7,500 reports documenting mineral exploration activity in Yukon since the 1950s. The majority fo these records are open to the public, more recent reports are confidential. Each record in this database represents a report, with the polygon geometry representing the area where work was performed. Key information about these reports has been captured, such as report number, title, author, year, claims, property name, expenditures, as well as a hyperlink to the scanned report, and it"s associated data. The Yukon Geological Survey stores a significant amount of geological information gathered by exploration companies in compliance with the Quartz Mining Act. This information is primarily contained in assessment reports (AR). Since 1920, more than 8000 hardrock assessment reports have been collected, with more than 6000 of these containing geochemical data on surficial samples (e.g., soil, rock, stream sediment, and vegetation). The sheer volume and historical depth of these data provide valuable insight into the mineral potential of the Yukon. Exploration companies rely on data from ARs to search for exploration targets. To aid exploration companies, YGS has developed this database to consolidate geochemical data extracted from assessment reports. This database, the Geochemical Assessment Report Data Extracted database (GARDEd), was created by extracting and compiling data from more than 300 assessment reports. GARDEd was initially populated with data from samples within a 75 km radius of the Casino deposit to evaluate the data extraction procedures and assess the feasibility of the database. Data capture focused on recent ARs because these were available in digital format. Table containing URL links to summary review reports on licensed personal care homes in Manitoba.This table contains URL links to reports on personal care home reviews completed by the Licensing and Compliance Branch of Manitoba Health, Seniors and Active Living. All licensed personal care home facilities in Manitoba are required to comply with minimum standards of care as set out in the Personal Care Home Standards Regulation under the Health Services Insurance Act. The branch monitors compliance through regular review processes. Operators of facilities are required to take the necessary steps to address concerns identified in the course of reviews within specified time lines and must provide status updates until concerns have been addressed.  Licences are reviewed and renewed annually and review findings are used to inform decision-making. The table includes the following fields (Alias (Name): Description) Regional Health Authority (Regional_Health_Authority): The name of the Regional Health Authority in which the facility is located. Community (Community): The name of the community in which the facility is located. Facility (Facility): The name of the licensed personal care home.
