Registered Fur Management Area
The Registered Fur Management Area dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Registered Fur Management Areas in Alberta. A Registered Fur Management Area (RFMA) is a parcel of public land, the boundary of which is described on the Registered Fur Management Licence. If a Registered Fur Management Area is described by reference to a line, that area includes all land within 0.5 mile on each side of that line. A Registered Fur Management Licence permits the licence holder to hunt and trap fur-bearing animals on the lands described on the licence.
Traplines of British Columbia
This dataset delineates areas for which registration is granted to one or more licensed trappers for the trapping of fur bearing animals under the BC Wildlife Act. Traplines are designated by a regional manager of the recreational fisheries and wildlife programs. The Wildlife Act regulates who may set a trap for, hunt, kill, take or capture a fur bearing animal within a trapline.
Trapline area
A trapline area is a polygon feature that identifies a ministry-regulated boundary used to administer traplines and fur management programs.
Fur Animal Management Units (UGAF)
Territorial division of the province of Quebec into fur harvesting management units. The data has been digitized at a scale of 1:250,000.__Warning:__ The MFFP cannot guarantee the accuracy of this Data and cannot be held responsible for the conclusions obtained as a result of the use of this Data. National Inventory of Canadian Military Memorials
This data contains the memorials and monuments located in communities across the country. Currently, more than 8,000 memorials are included in this data. This data is regularly updated as we continue to receive information on Canadian military memorials.
Distribution of Northern Fur Seals - Coastal Resource Information Management System (CRIMS)
Modeled data showing the likely distribution of Northern fur seals. CRIMS is a legacy dataset of BC coastal resource data that was acquired in a systematic and synoptic manner from 1979 and was intermittently updated throughout the years. Resource information was collected in nine study areas using a peer-reviewed provincial Resource Information Standards Committee consisting of DFO Fishery Officers, First Nations, and other subject matter experts. There are currently no plans to update this legacy data.
Wind Energy
This data includes the average wind speed measured at various sites throughout the Yukon over discrete time periods from as early as 1944 to as recent as 2004. The specific time periods are included in the dataset, as is a brief description of each site. Other sites will be added as the data becomes available.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Hydro Energy
This data includes the projected capacity, energy potential and cost of possible hydro sites throughout the Yukon. Other sites will be added as the data becomes available.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Shelters
The intention is to show the boundaries of all refuges in Manitoba, as designated by the Designation of Wildlife Lands Regulation (171/2001) under The Wildlife Act (C.C.S.M. c. W130). Refuge types include Wildlife Refuge, Game Bird Refuge, Goose Refuge, and Fur Bearing Animal Refuge. The Use of Wildlife Lands Regulation (77/99) determines what activities are prohibited within each refuge.Boundaries are drawn based on the physical description described in regulation, or imported using CAD files from the official Director of Surveys Plan stated in regulation.
Fisheries Sensitive Watersheds - Proposed
A Fisheries Sensitive Watershed (FSW) is a mapped area with specific management objectives intended to guide development activities which may adversely impact important fish values . FSWs within this set of data are currently in the review and consultation stage of the area designation process. As FSWs are designated they will be moved into the [Approved Fisheries Sensitive Watersheds](http://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/fisheries-sensitive-watersheds) dataset and thus often this dataset is empty.
