Designated gas storage areas are land areas designated by the Ontario Energy Board that contain geological formations used for subsurface storage of natural gas. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

This dataset is provided by the Ministry of Utilities and Affordability, Rural Utilities Branch, and represents rural low-pressure pipelines (less than 700 kPa) in Alberta that are under the jurisdiction of the Gas Distribution Act, including Gas Co-ops, First Nations, Municipalities and Counties, Private Systems, Apex Utilities Inc., and ATCO Gas Inc. The data is based on annual submissions of as-builts to Rural Utilities, Alberta Affordability and Utilities. The pipeline attributes include current status, type of pipe, and the contact information for each distributor. The linear data features contain: 1. Pipe material, 2. Status, 3. Year built, if known, and 4. The name of the natural gas distributor and general contact information for inquiries and requests.

Applications for spatial areas occurring on Crown land in which oil and gas activities will take place. Construction corridors allow for flexibility in the movement, placement and construction of oil and gas activity. This dataset is updated nightly.

Land Plats are the sole official record of where the Director of PandNG Titles Branch recognizes a pool of hydrocarbons to exist for the purpose of administering oil and gas title

Spatial data for approved and post construction features for Canada Energy Regulator (CER) related ancillary features and Energy Resources Activities Act (ERAA) associated oil and gas activities collected on or after October 30, 2006. Associated oil and gas activities are related activities which require the use of Crown land and require an authorization under either the Land Act or the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. The dataset includes polygon features such as campsites, workspaces, deck sites, staging areas, and other temporary disturbances. This dataset is updated nightly.
