Grizzly Bear Population Units
Boundaries identifying similar behavioural ecotypes and sub-populations of Grizzly bears. This dataset contains versions from multiple years. From 2018 on, NatureServe conservation concern ranking categories (e.g., Very Low, Low, Moderate, High, Extreme Concern) supersede the pre-2018 population status categories (e.g., Viable, Threatened, Extirpated) contained in the field STATUS. NatureServe conservation concern ranking categories reflect population size and trend, genetic and demographic isolation, as well as threats to bears and their habitats. The NatureServe conservation concern ranking fields are named CONSERVATION_CONCERN_RANK and CONSERVATION_CONCERN_DESC. Please view the attached PDF file for a summary of changes to this dataset from 2012 onward. To download only the 2018 units, in the link below, select the "Export" tab, then select the "Provincial Layer Download" button: https://maps.gov.bc.ca/ess/hm/imap4m/?catalogLayers=7744,7745 Grizzly Bear Conservation Ranking results table is available here: https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/e08876a1-3f9c-46bf-b69a-3d88de1da725 Grizzly Bear population estimates from various years are available here: https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/2bf91935-9158-4f77-9c2c-4310480e6c29 Grizzly Bear reports are available here: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/environment/plants-animals-ecosystems/wildlife/wildlife-conservation/grizzly-bear

Canadian Gridded Temperature and Precipitation Anomalies (CANGRD)
CANGRD is a set of Canadian gridded annual, seasonal, and monthly temperature and precipitation anomalies, which were interpolated from stations in the Adjusted and Homogenized Canadian Climate Data (AHCCD); it is used to produce the Climate Trends and Variations Bulletin (CTVB).
Ungulate Winter Range - Approved
The dataset contains approved legal boundaries for ungulate winter range and specified areas for ungulate species.
Road network
The entire road network of the City of Rouyn-Noranda. Only the lanesPublics with an odonym are included.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
National Agroclimate Series of Derived Indicators (NASDI) - Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI)
The Standardized Precipitation Evapotranspiration Index (SPEI) is computed similarly to the SPI. The main difference is that SPI assesses precipitation variance, while SPEI also considers demand from evapotranspiration which is subtracted from any precipitation accumulation prior to assessment.Unlike the SPI, the SPEI captures the main impact of increased temperatures on water demand SPI values indicate the number of standard deviations the observed anomaly departs from the long-term period of record, with positive values corresponding to wetter-than-average conditions.Time periods calculated for monthly precipitation percentiles are 1, 2, 3, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24 months. Each ISO week is numbered from 1 to 52 (sometimes 53) within a year. An ISO week starts on Monday and ends on Sunday. Historical record goes back to 1980Indices values were calculated using the xclim python package The National Agroclimate Series of Derived Indicators (NASDI) products provide a collection of comprehensive and regularly updated datasets on key agroclimatic variables, including accumulated precipitation, standardized precipitation index, and difference from normal temperature, among others. These datasets incorporate both real-time and historical climate information, offering enhanced insight into conditions and trends across Canada’s diverse agricultural regions.

Monthly Climate Observation Summaries
A cross-country summary of the averages and extremes for the month, including precipitation totals, max-min temperatures, and degree days. This data is available from stations that produce daily data.
