Agricultural Land Parcels - Surveyed
This layer shows surveyed parcels that fall under the Agricultural Development Area Regulations or are within an agricultural zone as defined in one of the Development Area Regulations ( [Find zoning maps for Yukon communities \| Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/en/find-zoning-maps-yukon-communities) ). The field "Title Description" indicates if the parcels is titled to private, a government entity (commissioner, community or federal) or untitled. Ocean Salmon Program - Ricker Beam Trawl Juvenile Salmon Study from 1990 to 1993
During the period of 1990 to 1993, Robin J. LeBrasseur and N. Brent Hargreaves led a juvenile salmon migration research project off the west coast of Vancouver Island BC. This included the development of surface beam trawl gear that could be deployed from a large trawl vessel (CCGS W.E. Ricker) and operated in an offshore environment. This dataset contains the research survey catch data and individual fish examinations data.
Shrimp catch and bycatch estimates from trawling and trapping in Clio Channel, British Columbia
These data sets provide information pertaining to shrimp and bycatch estimates associated with beam-trawling and trapping (2001-2002) in Clio Channel. Data sets were compiled and formatted by Meagan Mak.Abstract from report:As part of a project investigating possible modification of marine ecosystems by shrimp trawling and trapping, we enumerated beam trawl and prawn trap catches at two locations in Clio Channel, south -central coast of British Columbia. Beam trawl surveys were conducted in Bones Bay and Turnour Bay during October 2001 and January 2002, respectively, and a prawn trap survey was conducted in Turnour Bay during March 2002. Catch data from the two gear types are presented.
A substrate classification for the Inshore Scotian Shelf and Bay of Fundy, Maritimes Region
A coastal surficial substrate layer for the coastal Scotian Shelf and Bay of Fundy. To create the layer, previous geological characterizations from NRCan were translated into consistent substrate and habitat characterizations; including surficial grain size and primary habitat type. In areas where no geological description was available, data including digital elevation models and substrate samples from NRCan, CHS and DFO Science were interpreted to produce a regional scale substrate and habitat characterization. Each characterization in the layer was given a ranking of confidence and original data resolution to ensure that decision makers are informed of the quality and scale of data that went into each interpretation.Cite this data as: Greenlaw, M., Harvey, C. Petroleum wells
The locations of wells that have been drilled for oil production, gas or salt resources or for underground storage of hydrocarbons. This data can be used for land use and resource management, emergency management, as well as compliance and enforcement in the petroleum industry. The Data is collected on an on-going basis and maintained in the Ontario Petroleum Data System (OPDS).
Oil and Gas Facility Location Applications
Facilities are an oil and gas activity, defined in the Energy Resources Activities Act as a system of vessels, piping, valves, tanks and other equipment used to gather, process, measure, store or dispose of petroleum, natural gas, water or a substance referred to in paragraph (d) or (e) of the definition of pipeline. This dataset contains point features for proposed applications collected through the BC Energy Regulator's Application Management System (AMS). This dataset is updated nightly.
Tile drainage area
Get the locations of drainage tiles installed by licenced agricultural drainage contractors. As a requirement of the license, each contractor must report the location of new drainage tile areas to the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Agribusiness.
Oil and Gas Pipeline Segment Permits
Pipeline centre-lines associated with oil and gas pipeline activity and falling within the area representing the pipeline right of way. This dataset contains line features collected on or after July 11, 2016 for approved pipeline centre-line locations. The dataset is updated nightly.
American lobster (Homarus americanus) abundance and biological characteristics collected from SCUBA dive surveys in the Bay of Fundy from 1982-2021
This dataset reports on lobster abundance and individual biological characteristics (size, sex, shell hardness, egg status), along with seabed substrate information, collected at various coastal sites in the Bay of Fundy, Canada. Surveys were conducted over a 40-year period between 1982 and 2021. Survey areas and SCUBA dive sites were located around Grand Manan Island, Deer Island, Campobello Island, and along the Bay of Fundy’s New Brunswick shore stretching from Passamaquoddy Bay, east to Maces Bay. One survey area was located on the Bay of Fundy’s southern shore (Nova Scotia) in the Annapolis Basin (Lawton et al. 1995). The data represent a compilation of SCUBA diving surveys (1003 belt transects) conducted directly by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) scientific SCUBA divers (1982-2019), or by contracted commercial divers funded in association with outside collaborating organizations; Department of Fisheries and Agriculture (DFA; 1990 – 1993), the Grand Manan Fishermen’s Association (GMFA; 2013-2015), and the University of New Brunswick (UNB; 2019-2021).Cite this data as: Lawton P, Dinning K, Rochette R, Teed L. Three Forks Zero Edge
These structure, isopach and zero edge files are part of a series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project. The series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project have been produced using 2 km equi-spaced modified grids generated from Golden Software’s Surfer 9 kriging algorithm. The dataset used to produce each of the maps in this series was created using data from several projects completed by the Ministry (Christopher, 2003; Saskatchewan Industry and Resources et al., 2004; Kreis et al., 2004; Marsh and Heinemann, 2006; Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources et al., 2007; Heinemann and Marsh, 2009); these data were validated and edited as required to facilitate correlations between the various regional projects. In addition, to minimize edge effects during contouring, the senior author also generated stratigraphic data from wells in adjacent jurisdictions.
