Lac Ste. Anne, Alberta - Bathymetry, Digital Elevation Model (Arc ASCII grid format)
All available bathymetry and related information for Lac Ste. Anne were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary. The data were validated against more recent data (Shuttle Radar Topography Mission 'SRTM' imagery and Indian Remote Sensing 'IRS' imagery) and corrected where necessary. The published data set contains the lake bathymetry formatted as an Arc ascii grid. Bathymetric contours and the boundary polygon are available as shapefiles.
Contaminants in fish database
The contaminants in fish database is a compilation of contaminant data analysed from fish tissue at the Fresh Water Institute from 1970 to 2005. Data include lab number, region, analysis, organs, species, lake, form (whole fish, headon dressed, headless dressed), weight, and length and contaminant concentrations. Total mercury was the predominant contaminant measured. Results were expressed as ppm or ppb based on the parameter analyzed. Concentrations are expressed based on wet weight.
Lac la Nonne, Alberta - Bathymetry, Digital Elevation Model (Arc ASCII grid format)
All available bathymetry and related information for Lac la Nonne were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary.
Lac La Biche, Alberta - Bathymetry, Digital Elevation Model (Arc ASCII grid format)
All available bathymetry and related information for Lac La Biche were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary.
Lakes, Rivers and Glaciers in Canada - CanVec Series - Hydrographic Features
The hydrographic features of the CanVec series include watercourses, water linear flow segments, hydrographic obstacles (falls, rapids, etc.), waterbodies (lakes, watercourses, etc.), permanent snow and ice features, water wells and springs. The Hydrographic features theme provides quality vector geospatial data (current, accurate, and consistent) of Canadian hydrographic phenomena. It aims to offer a geometric description and a set of basic attributes on hydrographic features that comply with international geomatics standards, seamlessly across Canada. The CanVec multiscale series is available as prepackaged downloadable files and by user-defined extent via a Geospatial data extraction tool.Related Products (Open Maps Links):[Topographic Data of Canada - CanVec Series](https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/8ba2aa2a-7bb9-4448-b4d7-f164409fe056)

Lac Sante, Alberta - Bathymetry, Digital Elevation Model (Arc ASCII grid format)
All available bathymetry and related information for Lac Sante were collected and hard copy maps digitized where necessary.
Frost Free Period 1971-2000
The data represents the frost-free period in Alberta over the 30-year period from 1971 to 2000. A 30-year period is used to describe the present climate since it is enough time to filter out short-term fluctuations but is not dominated by any long-term trend in the climate. The frost-free period is the number of days between the last date of 00C in the spring and the first date of 00C in the fall. Frost free periods in Alberta vary from 125 days in the south to less than 85 days in higher elevation, non-agricultural areas. The frost-free period is presented as days above 0°.C in the following classes: less than 85, 85 to 95, 95 to 105, 105 to 115, 115 to 125 and greater than 125. This resource was created using ArcGIS.
Urban level curves
The level curves are derived from a LiDAR survey carried out in May 2014.The equidistance is 25 cm, the absolute planimetric accuracy (XY) isof approximately 40 cm and the absolute altimeter accuracy (Z) is approximately 20 cm.The urban sectors covered are the urban perimeters of Rouyn, Noranda,Granada, Évain (partially), Lac-Dufault and the airport.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Atlas of Canada - Wireless Data Network
The Atlas of Canada’s Wireless Data Network map illustrates the availability of LTE and 5G wireless data service across Canada in 2024. It features an inset map and a bar graph that provide additional insights. The inset map shows the percentage of population in each province with access to 5G service. The bar graph shows the percent of population without access 5G service by year, dating back to 2020.The Atlas of Canada Wireless Data Network map is shown at a scale of 1:6 000 000. It is part of the new Atlas of Canada series, which features a shared look and feel across all map products to ensure consistency in design and layout. This map supports the Communication and Transportation theme, one of five core themes featured in the renewed Atlas of Canada web presence at atlas.gc.ca. The common design helps make Atlas of Canada products easier to read, compare, and use together across the Atlas collection.Use the Atlas of Canada site to find places, digital maps, facts, geographical information and learning resources about Canada.Source: Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), 2024.Current trends - Mobile wireless. https://crtc.gc.ca/eng/publications/reports/PolicyMonitoring/mob.htmIf you have questions about CRTC data, e-mail info@crtc.gc.ca.Produced by the Canada Centre for Mapping and Earth Observation, the Geoscience and Earth Monitoring Sector, Natural Resources Canada. 2025.
