The Lands Division Officer Working Zones dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Forestry and Parks Lands Officer Working Zones within the Province of Alberta. The dataset is to help Government of Alberta Staff in determining which Lands Officer is responsible for the approvals within each zone.

The Lands Officer Districts dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Forestry and Parks Lands Officer Districts within the Province of Alberta.

The Lands Officer Region dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Forestry and Parks Lands Officer Regions within the Province of Alberta.

Information about roads under Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) jurisdiction may fall within the responsibility of several different ministry branches and including: * Forests Division * Parks, Lands & Waters Branch * Resource access roads The dataset also contains roads not under the jurisdiction of the MNR like municipal roads and provincial highways. These are sourced from the Ontario Road Network.

Settlement land is land identified in a first nation's final agreement as settlement land of the first nation. There are three types of settlement land that a Yukon First Nation can own and manage: Category A: complete ownership of surface and subsurface; Category B: complete ownership of the surface only; Fee Simple: private ownership. Inventories are lands identified for review to determine the availability to market. The view was created to provide a simplified presentation of this single tenure type from the disposition information in the Tantalis operational system. The Rangeland Management Zones dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Rangeland Management Zones in Alberta. A Rangeland Management Zone is an administrative area designated by the Lands Division in which grazing and other agricultural uses related to public land are managed by regional branch offices. The boundaries are used to ensure referrals are sent to the correct locations. The Rangeland Management Zones was formerly known as Alberta Sustainable Resource Development Rangeland Management Districts.

TA_CROWN_DVLOPMNT_AGRMNTS_SVW contains the spatial representation (polygon) of active and applied for Land Act Development Agreements. Development Agreements allow for use of Crown Land for development with conditions for future purchase of base lands or tenure of property. The view was created to provide a simplified presentation of this single tenure type from the disposition information in the Tantalis operational system. This information is used  to manage oil and gas rights on offshore Crown lands in Ontario. A grid system of blocks and tracts is used to divide the area. 1 block =  5 minute longitude by 5 minute latitude numbered area. 1 tract =  1 minute longitude by 1 minute latitude area, assigned by letters . 1 block contains 25 tracts. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
