Projected development of the network of reserved lanes and sustainable mobility corridors (Urban and Mobility Plan 2050)
This data set shows the projected development of the network of reserved lanes and sustainable mobility corridors for 2050 and which appears on map 2-5 of the 2050 Urban and Mobility Plan (PUM).The network of lanes reserved for public transport is one of the preferential measures for buses, along with intelligent priority lights. It makes it possible to increase the performance of the surface network and to ensure an effective network between local services and the structural network. Although it is complementary to the structuring public transport network, redundancy can be observed with the planned developments for certain axes under study. This situation is linked to the fact that the development of a reserved lane may precede, in a sequential logic, the medium or long term establishment of a structuring mode on a given axis. Data on the friendliness of roads for cyclists reflect as accurately as possible the conditions encountered on roads managed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD). The levels of usability are determined according to the following three criteria: the posted speed is low; the shoulders are wide and paved; the flow of vehicles, especially trucks, is limited.
