The Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Wildlife Management Units in Alberta. WMU is an area of wildlife managed under Wildlife Act, Alberta Regulation 143/79.

Coal Agreement feature class contains provincial extent polygon features representing Coal applications, agreements, leases, and licences, with varying term dates and conditions. These applications and subsequent agreements give the holder the right to explore Coal.

The spatial representation for a Pulpwood Agreement, which is a 25 year term agreement, replaceable every ten years, that allows the holder of a wood-fibre processing facility to harvest Crown pulp timber if sufficient quantities of raw material are not available to the holder from other sources. Covers a large area in one or more Timber Supply Areas or TFLs.

The Treaty Boundary dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the historical treaty lands of Canada negotiated by First Nations over the years through treaty-making between 1867 - 1999. The approximate boundaries illustrate the traditional territories described in First Nations Statements of Intent to negotiate treaties which have been submitted to, and accepted.

Consolidated Local Health Areas (CLHAs) Boundaries. B.C. Consolidated Local Health Areas (CLHAs) are a health geography standard that partitions the province into distinct areas that support coordination of specialized care between Health Authorities and Primary Care. The province is divided into five Health Authorities, which are subdivided into 41 Consolidated Local Health Areas (CLHAs), which are subdivided into 231 Community Health Service Areas (CHSAs). CLHAs encompass all of B.C., so the classification is exhaustive of all the land area in the province.

The Recommended Plan divides the Dawson planning region into 21 discrete areas of land called Landscape Management Units. They are generally based upon differences in use, ecology, land status, habitat and physical landscape features such as watersheds. Each Landscape Management Unit has its own management direction.The Recommended Plan’s Land Use Designation System describes the management intent of each Landscape Management Unit.
