The Permafrost Information Network (PIN) geotechnical borehole database combines existing database compilations into a standard structure. The standardized database was created to be accessible from the PIN web application as a data layer. Further information regarding data compilation can be accessed from the PIN web application.

This service provides a compilation of Electronic Navigational Charts (ENC) produced by the Canadian Hydrographic Service. All information provided by this service conforms to the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Publication S-57. An ENC contains all the chart information useful for navigation, and may contain supplementary information in addition to that contained in the paper chart. This service is not for navigation.

This table is a list of polygon attributes to be used in map production for the vegetation Inventory map series. It contains attribute information for polygons in the inventory that are not labeled with the Inventory Annotation. Wildlife Key Areas (WKA) are locations used by wildlife for critical, seasonal life functions. WKAs are identified by interpreting observed locations of wildlife at key times of year, not through intensive habitat assessment. Polygons derived from interviews with locals and from GIS interpretation of wildlife/habitat surveys. GIS interpretation follows criteria specific for taxon and/or populations of taxon. Key Areas are based on observed locations of wildlife at key times of year, not on habitat assessment. With new information, boundaries and designations of Key Areas can change and additional Key Areas can be identified. Furthermore, Key Areas are not the only sites important for wildlife. Other information sources can identify other sites important for wildlife for reasons outside the scope of the WKA Inventory Program. Updates to Key Areas occur only periodically. The STAC API for NRCan's Earth Observation Database Management System (EODMS)..**This third party metadata element follows the Spatio Temporal Asset Catalog (STAC) specification.**

As part of the International Polar Year (IPY) 2007'08 and 2008'09 activities, and related objectives of the Commission for the Geological Map of the World (CGMW), nations of the circumpolar Arctic have co-operated to produce a new bedrock geology map and related digital map database at a scale of 1:5 000 000. The map, released in north polar stereographic projection using the World Geodetic System (WGS) 84 datum, includes complete geological and physiographic coverage of all onshore and offshore bedrock areas north of latitude 60° north.

This dataset provides information which is currently displayed on the Child Care Programs Map. The intent of the Child Care Programs Map is to provide an online resource to assist families searching for ministry-funded licensed child care listed by city, address, licence type and services offered. New licensed child care facilities are added as they become operational. The dataset is updated daily. STE_SCANNED_MAP_BOUNDARY_SP includes an index of the mapsheet grid location of Soils, Terrain, Ecosystems and related scanned maps (including Agriculture Capability and Climate Capability maps). These maps are intended for on-screen viewing or printing. The majority of the maps have been geo-referenced. Mapping may not cover the whole map grid area. Some maps are interim or draft and may have been superseded. Some files are of related legends and map project text. Associated scanned map boundary attributes describe the project map (project level metadata) and provide a link for downloading the map, plus links to related reports, geo-referenced maps, and GIS digital data available from other sources. ATTENTION - The IMAGE_URL link is only useable by BC government staff. Public users can download the scanned maps by using the ECOCAT_URL link. There is no charge for the scanned map files. Please note that some maps and more recent mapping may also be available in digital GIS format. See - Ecosystem and Terrain Mapping Data Inventory.

This map service provides access to most of the Resource Map datasets shown on the GeoAtlas application.**Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule. This map service is used by the GeoATLAS web application, sub-section Resource Map in the Mineral Exploration theme. It includes Base Metals Potential, Coal Potential, Gold Potential, Helium Potential, Bitumen (Oil Sands) Potential, Lithium Potential, Potash and Salt Resource Potential, Rare Earth Elements Potential and Uranium Potential schema in Production Data Warehouse. Note: Oil and Gas pools are found in the /Petroleum service.
