These applications and subsequent agreements give the holder the right to explore Metallic and Industrial Minerals.

This data set represents the digital information on all known mineral occurrences in the Province of Saskatchewan.This data shows information on all known mineral occurrences in Saskatchewan. Additional occurrences are added as new public domain geoscience information is analyzed. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. Current definitions for the mineral deposit categories used in the Saskatchewan Mineral Deposit Index can be found by searching “Mineral Deposit Category Definition Tables” on the Publications Saskatchewan website. Compilation of drillholes for mineral exploration and Quaternary studies in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada.This dataset is compilation of uranium drillholes prior to 2007, and since that time has expanded to include metallic and industrial mineral exploration drillholes and surficial sedimentology drillholes. This is an ongoing compilation whereby recent drillholes that become publically available are added. In addition, improvements are frequently made to more historic drillholes with spurious information. Administrative boundaries called mining divisions were once used for recording claims. This information is now historic. This dataset contains the codes for each of the 24 mining division. For example, 1=ALBERNI, 2=ATLIN, 3=CARIBOO, 4=CLINTON, 5=FORT STEELE. These boundaries are no longer used for current administration. Mining division is needed when submitting the title page for your Technical Work Report. They can also be used to reference historical records.

This data represents applications for a mining permit. Called a Permitted Mine Area (PMA) this polygonal boundary is for "regional mines". Notice of Work (NoW) is the name of the application. **The regional mine PMA dataset is not complete for all mine sites in BC. A mineral lease is a mineral claim that has been surveyed by a Canada Lands Surveyor. A mineral lease can be applied for after an exploration prospecting company has done a minimum of representation work in the claim area and if a legal survey on the claim has been recorded.
