The Non-Permit Area dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent Non-Permit Areas in Alberta. The Non-Permit Areas are delineated areas where burning permits are not required by clients.

An Element Occurrence (EO) is an area of land and/or water in which a species or ecological community is, or was, present. An Element is either a species (or subspecies taxa) or an ecological community, the Occurrence is the documented location. The EO concept is part of NatureServe methodology. This methodology is used throughout the NatureServe network. EOs are created based on the Element Occurrence Data Standard and are a derived product developed from submitted observations. An EO should have practical conservation value for the Element as evidenced by potential continued (or historical) presence and/or regular recurrence at a given location. For Species Elements, the EO often corresponds with the local population, but when appropriate may be a portion of a population (e.g., for long distance dispersers) or may be a group of nearby populations (e.g., metapopulation). For Ecological Community Elements, the EO may represent a stand or patch of a natural community, or a cluster of stands or patches of a natural community. This dataset contains Non-sensitive EOs. Non-Sensitive EOs are locations (i.e. occurrences) of species or communities that are rare (or of conservation concern for some other reason) and for which there are no restrictions regarding public access to location data (beyond agreeing to the Terms and Conditions detailed below). This data updates on a daily basis.

This table contains information about non-compliances to five sections under The Animal Care Act.This table contains information about the number of non-compliances found to five sections of The Animal Care Act for each year, starting in 2016, to the most recent quarter. This data is populated by the Provincial Animal Welfare Database for the Manitoba Animal Welfare Program and is displayed in the Manitoba Animal Welfare Program – Non-Compliances to The Animal Care Act chart. The table will be updated on a quarterly basis. The National Ecological Framework for Canada's "Soil Texture by Ecoprovince” dataset contains tables that provide soil texture information within the ecoprovince framework polygon. It provides soil texture codes and their English and French language descriptions as well as the percentage of the polygon that the component occupies.Soil texture indicates the relative proportions of the various soil separates (sand, silt, clay) as described by classes of texture. Soil separates are mineral particles, 2.0 mm in diameter and include: gravel 0.2 -7.5 cm and cobbles 7.5-25.0 cm. There are 12 texture group classes definitions and one class definition for Not Applicable (which indicates, for example, water, ice or urban areas).
