Ministry of Health Service Provider Locations (MOHSERLO)
The Ministry of Health Service Provider Locations (MOHSERLO) geospatial dataset contains the locations of health service providers in Ontario.
Public health unit boundaries
This geospatial dataset contains the geographic boundaries of the 34 Public Health Units (PHUs) in Ontario, based on Statistics Canada’s Health Region Boundary File (2018). A PHU is the area of jurisdiction of a board of health. PHUs in Ontario are defined in Regulation 553 (Revised Regulations of Ontario), pursuant to Health Protection and Promotion Act R.S.O. 1990, Amended to O. Reg. 64/05.
Ontario Hydro Network - Hydrographic Point
A feature is a representation of a real world object, such as a lake, stream, dam or rapid. There are three hydrographic feature classes: points, lines and polys. All may impede or be hazardous to waterflow and/or navigation on a watercourse or waterbody. This data shows natural and manmade point features. Examples include: * waterfalls * rapids * rocks * Sea Lamprey barriers * shipwrecks This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software. Province
The outer boundary of the Province of Ontario. Land identifying the extent of the Province of Ontario for mapping purposes. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
Geographic Township Improved
A Township is a land subdivision in Ontario. This information was captured through the Ontario Base Mapping Program, is maintained by the Ministry of Natural Resources and distributed through Geospatial Ontario (GEO) Warehouse. The spatial accuracy for some of the townships was improved through the Ontario Parcel, Township Realignment and Township Improvement projects. Improvements may include: * road allowance widths * spatial changes to better represent where the township boundaries are located * more consistent concession names Materials used to improve the location of township lines may include: * township Improvement plots * survey information i.e. retracements * original township plans * surveys notes * the physical features e.g. fence lines in the corporate editing environment * water bodies * GPS Ontario Road Network geometry This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
Canadian Public Transit Systems
Geospatial data for public transit agencies in Canada, with information on stop locations, route locations, route types, level of service, wheel chair access, bike access, and more.
Farmers’ Markets
This dataset displays the name, website and locations of Ontario Farmers Markets, as derived from the Farmers Markets of Ontario Website. The 2 datasets available below are zipped files containing: * .kmz files for use with Google Earth or similar Keyhole Markup Language (KML) compatible software * shapefiles for use with GIS software For instructions on how to use Google Earth, read the [Google Earth tutorial](http://www.google.com/earth/index.html).
Ontario Hydro Network - Hydrographic Line
A feature is a representation of a real world object, such as a lake, stream, dam or rapid. There are three hydrographic feature classes: points, lines and polys. All may impede or be hazardous to waterflow and/or navigation on a watercourse or waterbody. This data shows natural and manmade line features. Examples include: * break walls * dams * waterfalls * lock-gates * rapids * rocks * Sea Lamprey barriers * shipwrecks This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software. Canada groundwater wells, integrated national, provincial and territorial dataset
This layer comprises all the available water wells in GIN (Yukon, British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador) and published through the open data platforms. This layer is a combination of all individual provincial and territorial layers. The original databases are dynamically converted by an automatic process managed by Natural Resources Canada (Groundwater Information Network).
Ontario Hydro Network - Hydrographic Poly
A feature is a representation of a real world object, such as a lake, stream, dam or rapid. There are three hydrographic feature classes: points, lines and polys. All may impede or be hazardous to waterflow and/or navigation on a watercourse or waterbody. This data shows natural and manmade poly features. Examples include: * break walls * dams * rapids * shipwrecks [Technical Bulletin: Data migrated to new Ontario Hydro Network (OHN) - Hydrographic Feature Data Classes (PDF)](http://geo2.scholarsportal.info/proxy.html?http:__maps.scholarsportal.info/files/PDFS/public/OGDE/OHN/TB-OHN-PostMigration_101112.pdf)
