National Road Network - NRN - GeoBase Series
Notice - Replacement of the English and French Web services (WMS and ESRI REST) with a bilingual one.The NRN product is distributed in the form of thirteen provincial or territorial datasets and consists of two linear entities (Road Segment and Ferry Connection Segment) and three punctual entities (Junction, Blocked Passage, Toll Point) with which is associated a series of descriptive attributes such as, among others: First House Number, Last House Number, Street Name Body, Place Name, Functional Road Class, Pavement Status, Number Of Lanes, Structure Type, Route Number, Route Name, Exit Number. The development of the NRN was realized by means of individual meetings and national workshops with interested data providers from the federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments. In 2005, the NRN edition 2.0 was alternately adopted by members from the Inter-Agency Committee on Geomatics (IACG) and the Canadian Council on Geomatics (CCOG). The NRN content largely conforms to the ISO 14825 from ISO/TC 204.
Maintenance Camps - 25k
This dataset provides locations of highway maintenance camps. Maintenance Camps house the staff and equipment that maintain Yukon highways.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . HOT2000 Climate Map
The HOT2000 software contains monthly and annual climate data for 403 locations in Canada. Boundary lines for HOT2000 climate zones were defined through spatial interpolation of the annual Celsius heating degree-days for each weather station. In a number of instances, the positions of boundary lines may not be representative of the local climate conditions due to lack of appropriate climate data. Each HOT2000 climate zone contains one weather station to be used for all locations within the zone. Climate data represent 20-year averaged data from 1998 to 2017 for locations south of 58° latitude and 13-year averaged data from 2005 to 2017 for locations north of 58° latitude. Note that Whistler, BC uses 13 years of data. The following information is available in the climate map:o Location: the name of the weather station.o Region: the provincial or territorial location of the weather station.o Latitude: measured in degrees north of the equator.o Annual heating degree-days using a base of 18 °C.o Design heating dry bulb temperature (°C): the 2.5% January design temperature used to calculate the design heat loss for the house.o Design cooling dry bulb temperature (°C): the 2.5% July design temperature used to calculate the design cooling load for the house.o Design cooling wet bulb temperature (°C): the 2.5% July design temperature used to calculate the design cooling load for the house. The climate map is intended to be used by all users of the HOT2000 software under the EnerGuide Rating System, including energy advisors, service organizations, regulatory agencies, builders, utilities, and all levels of government. The weather locations and climate data are based on Environment and Climate Change Canada data, specifically the Canadian Weather Energy and Engineering Datasets (CWEEDS).
Flood Protection Works - Appurtenant Structures
Existing flood protection works appurtenances on or near dikes, for example, pump house, floodbox, culvert, gate, gauge, weir, etc. Updated from available Provincial dike survey project data from 2019/2020. If 2019/2020 dike survey project data is unavailable, appurtenance data based on previous data from 2004 and prior. May include periodic updates depending on data provided by Diking Authorities and other sources. See Data Source under selected appurtenance for details. Federal Electoral Districts - Canada 2013
Canada is divided into 338 electoral districts. A representative or member of Parliament is elected for each electoral district. Following the release of population counts from each decennial census, the Chief Electoral Officer determines the number of seats in the House of Commons and publishes the information in the Canada Gazette. Electoral boundaries commissions then determine the adjustments to the constituency boundaries. The federal electoral boundaries commissions are independent bodies that make all decisions regarding the proposed and final federal electoral boundaries. Elections Canada provides support services to the boundaries commission in each province. Based on reports from these commissions, the Chief Electoral Officer prepares a representation order that describes the boundaries and specifies the name and the population of each FED. The representation order is in force on the first dissolution of Parliament that occurs at least seven months after its proclamation. The 2013 Representation Order (proclaimed on October 5, 2013) was based on 2011 Census population counts, and increased the number of FEDs to 338, up from 308 from the previous 2003 Representation Order. Ontario received fifteen additional seats, Alberta and British Columbia each gained six seats while Quebec added three seats. On June 19, 2014, the Riding Name Change Act, 2014 (Bill C-37) received Royal Assent changing the names of 31 FEDs. The names of FEDs may change at any time through an Act of Parliament.

High Resolution Digital Elevation Model Mosaic (HRDEM Mosaic) - CanElevation Series
The High Resolution Digital Elevation Model Mosaic provides a unique and continuous representation of the high resolution elevation data available across the country. The High Resolution Digital Elevation Model (HRDEM) product used is derived from airborne LiDAR data (mainly in the south) and satellite images in the north. The mosaic is available for both the Digital Terrain Model (DTM) and the Digital Surface Model (DSM) from web mapping services. It is part of the CanElevation Series created to support the National Elevation Data Strategy implemented by NRCan. This strategy aims to increase Canada's coverage of high-resolution elevation data and increase the accessibility of the products.Unlike the HRDEM product in the same series, which is distributed by acquisition project without integration between projects, the mosaic is created to provide a single, continuous representation of strategy data. The most recent datasets for a given territory are used to generate the mosaic. This mosaic is disseminated through the Data Cube Platform, implemented by NRCan using geospatial big data management technologies. These technologies enable the rapid and efficient visualization of high-resolution geospatial data and allow for the rapid generation of dynamically derived products. The mosaic is available from Web Map Services (WMS), Web Coverage Services (WCS) and SpatioTemporal Asset Catalog (STAC) collections. Accessible data includes the Digital Terrain Model (DTM), the Digital Surface Model (DSM) and derived products such as shaded relief and slope. The mosaic is referenced to the Canadian Height Reference System 2013 (CGVD2013) which is the reference standard for orthometric heights across Canada.Source data for HRDEM datasets used to create the mosaic is acquired through multiple projects with different partners.Collaboration is a key factor to the success of the National Elevation Strategy. Refer to the “Supporting Document” section to access the list of the different partners including links to their respective data.
