For several years, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) has conducted annual ship-based surveys in the St. Lawrence Estuary and the Gulf of St. Lawrence to assess environmental conditions and support a range of scientific objectives. Because these surveys do not extend into winter, a complementary regional monitoring program has been implemented annually in early March since 1996. This monitoring program is typically carried out using a Canadian Coast Guard helicopter, although in 2016 and 2017 it was conducted aboard an icebreaker. The winter survey measures physical oceanographic conditions to approximately 200 m depth along with nutrient concentrations in the surface layer. This dataset is a digital representation of Saskatchewan's Quaternary geology at 1:250 000 scale.This dataset is a 1:250,000 scale Quaternary geology map series showing surficial terrain deposits classified by depositional environment and geomophology in the Province of Saskatchewan. Mapping of this dataset was compiled by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada and Prairie Farm Rehabilitation Administration (PFRA), and merged by the Government of Saskatchewan. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.

Historical hydrometric data are standardized water resource data and information. They are collected, interpreted and disseminated by the National Hydrological Services (NHS) in partnership with the provinces, territories and other agencies through the National Hydrometric Program. These data sets include daily mean, monthly mean, annual maximum and minimum daily mean and instantaneous peak water level and discharge information for over 2700 active and 5100 discontinued hydrometric monitoring stations across Canada.

The "Canadian Database of Geochemical Surveys" has two long-term goals. Firstly, it aims to catalogue all of the regional geochemical surveys that have been carried out across Canada, beginning in the 1950s. Secondly, it aims to make the raw data from those surveys available in a standardised format. Over 1,500 surveys have been catalogued. Moored instrument time series data include current velocity, temperature, salinity, oxygen, fluorescence, transmissivity, turbidity, and particle capture of carbon, nitrogen, and silicon as well as sediment trap, ice drift and ice draft data.These data were collected by researchers from the Institute of Ocean Sciences, Sidney, BC, from locations ranging from the North Pacific, the Beaufort Sea, and across the Canadian Arctic Archipelago to Baffin Bay.

An archive of 2D regional seismic and long period magnetotelluric data collected during 20 years of work under the LITHOPROBE project. Data are primarily onshore and cover widespread regions of Canada. Available data types include raw digital data, processed sections, and images of final sections, as well as auxiliary information required for analysis of the data.
