Municipal Boundaries
Municipal boundaries are created by Order in Council as per the Municipal Act. Each Municipality has it's own Official Community Plan (OCP) and Zoning Bylaw. Changes to the OCP or Zoning Bylaw are processed by 3rd reading of Bylaws.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . MTA - Coal Grid, Unit
Determines the location of Coal Titles within the Province of British Columbia. It is established under the authority of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Grid Regulation. It is defined by a set of UTM coordinates which approximate NAD 27 latitude and longitude positions. Units are the finest level of the Coal Grid. They are defined by UTM coordinates for their corners and the mid points of the four sides. A unit is the base building block for creating the Coal Grid. In a block there are 100 units, 10 rows by 10 columns, and numbered consecutively, starting in the southeast corner. The units are numbered 1 to 10, 11 - 20 etc. always reading from right to left. Air Quality Health Index Observations
The Air Quality Health Index (AQHI) is a scale designed to help quantify the quality of the air in a certain region on a scale from 1 to 10. When the amount of air pollution is very high, the number is reported as 10+. It also includes a category that describes the health risk associated with the index reading (e.g. Low, Moderate, High, or Very High Health Risk). The AQHI is calculated based on the relative risks of a combination of common air pollutants that are known to harm human health, including ground-level ozone, particulate matter, and nitrogen dioxide. The AQHI formulation captures only the short term or acute health risk (exposure of hour or days at a maximum). The formulation of the AQHI may change over time to reflect new understanding associated with air pollution health effects. The AQHI is calculated from data observed in real time, without being verified (quality control).
Community Zoning
As of June, 2011, each parcel that is affected by a change in rezoning has the current OIC/MO. In some cases, OIC's and MO's are too numerous to mention therefore only the original OIC/MO along with the most current OIC/MO will show. The current OIC/MO may apply to any number of parcels within a Development Area Regulation Boundary. Municipal zoning changes are passed by 3rd reading of Bylaws. This data is updated within 1 week of passing a Bylaw, OIC, or MO.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Watercourses - 1M
Atlas of Canada National Frameworks data are standardized national coverages of commonly used geospatial datasets at the 1:1 000 000 scale. The Drainage Network Skeleton dataset is comprised of linear features: single line rivers, flow lines within waterbodies and ocean coastlines. Flow lines within waterbodies are virtual linear features representing the hydrological flow through area features (e.g. lakes, rivers and intermittent waterbodies). These flow lines complete the linear network where rivers would run through lakes, permitting hydrologic network analysis and cartographic generalization. This dataset is required for analytical applications. The coastline component of the Drainage Network Skeleton also delineates oceanic islands. The National Scale Frameworks Hydrology data consists of area, linear and point geospatial and attribute data for Canada's hydrology at a national scale. It provides a representation of Canada's surface water features, and data completeness reflects the content of the source, the original Vector Map level 0 (VMAP0) revision 4 hydrographic layers, except where revision editing has been performed. Key value-added characteristics include river flow direction, connectivity and the tagging of geographical name keys to selected rivers, lakes and islands included in the Concise Gazetteer of Canada. The Atlas Frameworks are a set of integrated base map layers which form part of a larger National Scale Frameworks data collection. These data have been compiled at a scale of 1:1 000 000 with the primary goal being to indicate correct relative positioning with other framework layers rather than absolute positional accuracy.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Adult Salmon Logbook Data Collected by Volunteer Anglers from Nova Scotian Rivers (SFA 18A, 18B)
PURPOSE: Adult salmon logbook data are collected annually from volunteer anglers on the Margaree River. These data are used as an input to the current model for predicting abundance of large and small salmon returns each season in the Margaree River (Breau and Chaput 2012). Logbook data used in the model come from in-season fishing. However, the dataset provided also includes early out-of-season fishing that was conducted by volunteer anglers under a scientific license issued by DFO. This early out-of-season early fishing began in 2015 as a pilot project and ran until 2023. DESCRIPTION: Tabularized data from logbooks of anglers in SFA 18A and 18B PHYSICAL SAMPLE DETAILS: LogbooksUSE LIMITATION: To ensure scientific integrity and appropriate use of the data, we would encourage you to contact the data custodian.
