Forestry Resource Roads - 50k
Forest resource roads (FRR) are actively used for accessing forest resources. FRRs are tracked and managed in a road management database. These roads do not represent a complete road network, they should be viewed in conjunction with the Roads -50k - Canvec dataset. Many FRRs are gated with controlled access. There are four categories of roads in the dataset: Forest Resource Roads (act); Forest Resource Access (non-act), Public Access (non-act) and auxiliary roads:- Forest resources road (Act): a road constructed, modified or maintained for the purpose of providing access for forest resources harvesting or management of forest resources that is authorized under subsection 32(1) of the Act, or a road designated as forest resources road under section 73 of the Regulation. These roads were constructed or designated after the Forest Resources Act and Regulation were enacted. - Forest resource access (non-Act): a road constructed, modified or maintained for the purpose of providing access for forest resources harvesting or management of forest resources that is considered a capital investment by the Government of Yukon, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, Forest Management Branch. These roads were constructed prior to the enactment of the Forest Resources Act. - Public Access (non act): a pre-existing public road. In this road network all Public Access is part of the forest resource access network. - Auxiliary access: a variety of access types that do not conform to the above descriptions and may include: research forest trails, skid trails, heritage trails, trails that access forest resources. JUNCTION_OFFICIAL is one of the important layers for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). The JUNCTION_OFFICIAL provides the information of road intersections to clients that require accurate, relatively up-to-date and detailed description of Saskatchewan Road Network.JUNCTION_OFFICIAL, A point has been generated at the intersection of three or more road segments, Ferry connection, National/Provincial/Territory boundary and at the dead end of the road. JUNCTION_OFFICIAL contains all the road intersection points in the Saskatchewan. JUNCTION_OFFICIAL is an important part of the Saskatchewan road network dataset. Each point geometry "JUNCTION" has unique Identifiers (NID). "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users.

OTHERROAD OFFICIAL
OTHERROAD_OFFICIAL provides the geospatial information of urban road network in the Province of Saskatchewan. It is one of the base layer used to create "Roadseg" layer for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). This data layer contains relatively up-to-date and accurate description of all urban roads in the provinceOTHERROAD_OFFICIAL consists of all the roads within the urban limits and any other roads those are not the part of RURALROAD_OFFICIAL and HIGHWAY_OFFICIAL. Original geometry of this layer is derived from National Road Network data layer. Urban Municipalities are responsible of the correctness and currentness of the Urban road network and Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (MHI) maintained OTHERROAD_OFFICIAL data layer/table according to the NRN standards. Unique Identifiers (NID) is associated with each line segment. "OTHER_ROAD_ID" is an auto generated unique ID for each road segment in OTHER_ROAD_OFFICIAL. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. OTHERROAD_OFFICIAL data layer is one of the important data table for SURN, NRN, SASK911, CAR and other applications.

Transport Features is composed of, among others, the National Road Network (NRN) and the National Railway Network (NRWN). Transport Features entities are: Nautical Facility, Track Segment, Track Junction, Railway Station, Track Crossing, Track Marker Post, Track Structure, Rail Ferry, Road Segment, Road Ferry, Road Junction, Blocked Passage, Toll Point, Aerial Cableway, Footbridge, Trail, Navigational Aid, Marina, and Runway. CanVec is a digital cartographic reference product of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). It originates from the best available data sources covering Canadian territory, offers quality topographical information in vector format and complies with international geomatics standards. Manitoba Road Network 2022
Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure's road network, current to 2022.Created by Manitoba Infrastructure, the 2022 Manitoba Road Network comprises four years of updates.Previous exports were based on the now legacy Control Sections. In this updated road network, the department adapts an Advanced Linear Referencing System (ALRS) with an Linear Referencing Method based on routes. This new model was build from the control section geometry and then enhanced by adding updated northern roads geometry captured by GPS, as well as interchanges, right turn cutoffs, service roads, and other road alignments not previously captured in the legacy road network.Fields included [Alias (Field Name): Field description.] OBJECTID (OBJECTID): Sequential, unique whole numbers are automatically system generated. Route ID (RouteId): The route's identifier, an information rich key comprised of designation, route name, and route type. Route Designation (RteDesignation): The designated level of government responsible for the road. Route Name (RteName): The name of the route, including direction. Route Type (RteType): The type of route, e.g. PTH (Provincial Trunk Highway), PR (Provincial Road), Acess (Provincial Access Road) Road Number (Signed) (Road_Number_Signed): A highway number labelling field. Shape Length (Shape__Length): Length in meters automatically system generated.

Uniquely identifies a 75 metre wide road tenure. This layer uses the centre line from the application and is buffered 37.5 metres either side. This layer does not represent the actual road on the ground. It represents where the application area is

RURALROAD_OFFICIAL provides the geospatial information of rural municipal road network in the Province of Saskatchewan. It is one of the base layer used to create "Roadseg" layer for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). This data layer contains relatively up-to-date and accurate description of all RM roads in the provinceRURALROAD_OFFICIAL consists of Rural Municipal (RM) road system in Saskatchewan. RM road system is based on the Dominion Lands Survey. Original geometry of this layer is derived from National Road Network data layer. Rural Municipalities are the responsible of the correctness and currentness of the day and Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (MHI) maintained this data layer/table according to the NRN standards. This data layer is based on the Linear Reference System (LRS) concepts. KM_FROM and KM_TO fields store the start point and the end point at Kilometer information of the line segment. Unique Identifiers NID) is associated with each line segment. The "DESRD_PPID" is the combination of RM Number, Project Number and Road Type (224-201-10). RURALROAD_ID auto generated unique ID for each rural road segment. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. RURALROAD_OFFICIAL data layer is one of the important data table for SURN, NRN, SASK911, CAR and other applications.
