Road network - RTSS
The Quebec road network, which is managed by the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility (MTMD), is represented on the interactive map according to the functional class of roads: Highway, National, Regional, Collector, Local 1-2-3, Local 1-2-3, Access resources, Access to resources and isolated locations. Some routes in the dataset are also under federal management or in public-private partnerships (PPP). The road network is inventoried according to the MTMD linear reference system. The linear reference is expressed under the acronym RTSS (Road, Section, Section, Sub-road). The inventoried roads are composed of a 14-character alphanumeric code and an associated measure called chaining (distance measured in meters). An inventoried route will therefore have a starting link (always 0) and an end link representing its length. Thus, the chaining value of a point can be extrapolated precisely to this point. The linear reference method is applied both in the field by different reference points and for the management of digital data of related road assets.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
The White Road
The Route Blanche is a snowmobile trail located on the Lower North Shore, constituting the only winter land link between Kegaska and Blanc-Sablon, thus bridging the road link between municipalities. The White Road is inventoried in the BGR system with the sub-route code “M”, as in this example: 00138-13-145-M1A0.Note: The Route Blanche route is already part of the “Road Network - RTSS” datasethttps://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/reseau-routier-rtss.The need is to be able to have a metadata sheet to describe its distinction from the road network and to be able to download the data set exclusively (without obtaining the entire road network).**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**

Patience Lake Carnallite Isopach
These structure, isopach and zero edge files are part of a series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project. The series of stratigraphic framework maps for the Saskatchewan Phanerozoic Fluids and Petroleum Systems (SPFPS) project have been produced using 2 km equi-spaced modified grids generated from Golden Software’s Surfer 9 kriging algorithm. The dataset used to produce each of the maps in this series was created using data from several projects completed by the Ministry (Christopher, 2003; Saskatchewan Industry and Resources et al., 2004; Kreis et al., 2004; Marsh and Heinemann, 2006; Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources et al., 2007; Heinemann and Marsh, 2009); these data were validated and edited as required to facilitate correlations between the various regional projects. In addition, to minimize edge effects during contouring, the senior author also generated stratigraphic data from wells in adjacent jurisdictions.
The Canadian Radiological Monitoring Network – Gross Alpha / Beta in Drinking Water
This dataset provides the results obtained by Health Canada’s Canadian Radiological Monitoring Network (CRMN) for the gross alpha and beta activity concentrations in drinking water, given in units of becquerels per liter (Bq/L). More information about the CRMN network can be found on the Health Canada website (see link below). Although water quality is a matter of provincial jurisdiction, the CRMN, in collaboration with the city of Ottawa, has been conducting a targeted program to monitor the radiological content of drinking water from two water treatment plants in Ottawa, ON. The Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality recommend screening levels of 0.5 Bq/L and 1.0 Bq/L for gross alpha and gross beta activity, respectively. The screening levels are set to reflect the most restrictive Maximum Acceptable Concentrations (MACs) for specific radionuclides in drinking water. If the screening levels are not exceeded, compliance with the guidelines can be inferred. The screening levels set out in the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality are calculated based on annual averages of radionuclides in drinking water. Short-term exposure to levels above those recommended by these guidelines does not indicate a health risk. The measured gross alpha and gross beta activity concentrations presented here are well below the screening levels set by the Guidelines for Canadian Drinking Water Quality, with only one exception to date. This occurred February 28, 2011, and was attributable to the flushing of lead pipes at the water treatment plant. It resulted in a spike of naturally occurring lead radionuclides that was dealt with immediately by the City of Ottawa. The map shows the approximate sampling location for each monitoring station. Stations are found within the associated location range.
GHA Hunting Season Table
The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the game hunting boundaries in Manitoba. The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the game hunting boundaries in Manitoba.Game Hunting Areas (GHAs) are defined under the Hunting Areas and Zones Regulation (220/86) of The Wildlife Act (CCSM c. W130). Game Hunting Areas are used to support boundaries for species-specific hunting seasons, harvest allocations, bag limits and associated regulations. Refer to the Hunting Areas and Zones Regulation for GHA boundary descriptions.Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description)OBJECTID (OBJECTID): sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated GHA (GHA): the number assigned to each Game Hunting Area Shape_Length (Shape_Length): the length of the feature in internal units Shape_Area (Shape_Area): area of the feature in internal units squared
National Road Network - NRN - GeoBase Series
Notice - Replacement of the English and French Web services (WMS and ESRI REST) with a bilingual one.The NRN product is distributed in the form of thirteen provincial or territorial datasets and consists of two linear entities (Road Segment and Ferry Connection Segment) and three punctual entities (Junction, Blocked Passage, Toll Point) with which is associated a series of descriptive attributes such as, among others: First House Number, Last House Number, Street Name Body, Place Name, Functional Road Class, Pavement Status, Number Of Lanes, Structure Type, Route Number, Route Name, Exit Number. The development of the NRN was realized by means of individual meetings and national workshops with interested data providers from the federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments. In 2005, the NRN edition 2.0 was alternately adopted by members from the Inter-Agency Committee on Geomatics (IACG) and the Canadian Council on Geomatics (CCOG). The NRN content largely conforms to the ISO 14825 from ISO/TC 204.
Trapping Concessions - 250k
Registered Trapping Concessions (RTCs) are legal boundaries that define an area where the holder of the concession has the exclusive right to trap furbearing animals. Because trapping is done primarily along waterways, RTCs are often defined by watersheds, using height of land (ridges and mountain peaks) as their boundaries. This is the opposite of GMAs which are defined by mountains. Sometimes RTCs are grouped together to form a Group Trapping Concession (in which groups of individual share the right to trap). This may or may not involve the elimination of the component RTC boundaries. The Yukon has 360 RTCs and 13 Group Trapping Concessions. Only Kluane National Park, Kluane Wildlife Sanctuary, and Ddhaw Ghro Habitat Protection are are not covered by RTCs. This data was built using the 1:250,000 National Topographic Data Base (NTDB) as the digitizing base.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Terrain Stability Mapping (TSM) Detailed Polygons with Short Attribute Table Spatial View
Terrain Stability Mapping (TSM) Detailed Polygons (STE_TER_STABILITY_POLYS_SVW) contains TSM polygons with key and amalgamated (concatenated) attributes derived from the Resource Inventory Standards Committee (RISC) standard attributes. This layer is derived from the [STE_TEI_ATTRIBUTE_POLYS_SP](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/f2cd2cc3-5f58-481c-bf3c-64934acb6fad) layer by filtering on the PROJECT_TYPE attribute. Project types include: TEMSET, TEMTSM, TSM, TSMREC, TSMDET, TBW, and TBS. TSM uses air photo interpretation and select field checking to divides the landscape into units using the Terrain Classification System for British Columbia and stability criteria. Polygon attributes include (but are not limited to) surficial material, surface expression, geomorphological processes, drainage class, slope range and stability class. TSM methods include manual air photo interpretation and setting stability criteria supported by selective field checking. TSM Detailed Polygon layer should be used in conjunction with [TER Project Boundaries](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/ad2f6d1e-cb53-4308-9263-e8deb731b996) which contain boundaries (study areas) and attributes describing each project (project level metadata), plus links to the locations of other data associated with the project (e.g., reports, polygon datasets, plotfiles, legends). TSM inventory polygons with full RISC attributes can be accessed through the [Terrestrial Ecosystem Information (TEI) Data Distribution Packages](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/8fd15e4e-e7b1-4566-81d1-1ff8947bfd46). **Current version**: v12 (2026-06-22)
