National Hydro Network - NHN - GeoBase Series
The National Hydro Network (NHN) focuses on providing a quality geometric description and a set of basic attributes describing Canada's inland surface waters. It provides geospatial digital data compliant with the NHN Standard such as lakes, reservoirs, watercourses (rivers and streams), canals, islands, drainage linear network, toponyms or geographical names, constructions and obstacles related to surface waters, etc. The best available federal and provincial data are used for its production, which is done jointly by the federal and interested provincial and territorial partners. The NHN is created from existing data at the 1:50 000 scale or better. The NHN data have a great potential for analysis, cartographic representation and display and will serve as base data in many applications. The NHN Work Unit Limits were created based on Water Survey of Canada Sub-Sub-Drainage Area.
FADM - Pulpwood Agreement
The spatial representation for a Pulpwood Agreement, which is a 25 year term agreement, replaceable every ten years, that allows the holder of a wood-fibre processing facility to harvest Crown pulp timber if sufficient quantities of raw material are not available to the holder from other sources. Covers a large area in one or more Timber Supply Areas or TFLs.
Ontario Hydro Network - Shoreline
The Ontario Hydro Network (OHN) is a provincial medium scale originating from data with regional scales of 1: 10,000 in Southern Ontario, 1: 20,000 in Northern Ontario and 1: 50,000 in the Far North. The shoreline is taken from the OHN - Waterbody data class. This data is used for cartographic purposes and web mapping services. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software. FADM - Tree Farm License (TFL) Schedule A
The spatial representation for a Tree Farm Licence Schedule A, which is private land or timber owned by the Tree Farm licence holder that is part of the Established Tree Farm Licence. These private lands can be inside or outside the main body of the Tree Farm Licence For further information on Tree Farm Licenses please visit this website: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content?id=A93E6DFD8C164AD19CD17880450289A3
Fisheries Sensitive Watersheds
The dataset contains approved legal boundaries for fisheries sensitive watersheds. A FSW is a mapped area with specific management objectives intended to guide development activities which may adversely impact important fish values
GHA Hunting Season Table
The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the game hunting boundaries in Manitoba. The purpose of this dataset is to give an accurate representation of the game hunting boundaries in Manitoba.Game Hunting Areas (GHAs) are defined under the Hunting Areas and Zones Regulation (220/86) of The Wildlife Act (CCSM c. W130). Game Hunting Areas are used to support boundaries for species-specific hunting seasons, harvest allocations, bag limits and associated regulations. Refer to the Hunting Areas and Zones Regulation for GHA boundary descriptions.Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description)OBJECTID (OBJECTID): sequential unique whole numbers that are automatically generated GHA (GHA): the number assigned to each Game Hunting Area Shape_Length (Shape_Length): the length of the feature in internal units Shape_Area (Shape_Area): area of the feature in internal units squared
FADM - Tree Farm License Agreement Boundary (TFL)
This view reflects what is in the Tree Farm License Agreement. Once an agreement is signed additions and deletions and changes occur that are not reflected in this layer. If you would like to see the current boundary please use the FADM - Tree Farm License Current View (TFL). Further information on Tree Farm Licenses please visit this website: https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content?id=A93E6DFD8C164AD19CD17880450289A3 The spatial representation for a Tree Farm License, which is an agreement entered into under Part 3, Division 5 of the Forest Act which grants the rights to harvest timber. A tree farm licence has a term of 25 years and requires a management plan providing for the establishment, management, and harvesting of timber in a described area (Crown and private land) on a sustained or perpetual yield basis
