Wildlife values area
The wildlife values area and site datasets represent the consolidation of 13 wildlife data classes collected by the Ministry of Natural Resources. The data estimates locations used by wildlife for various reasons, including: * breeding * calving and fawning * denning * feeding * staging * nesting * wintering * general habitat areas * nurseries * travel corridors Locations are represented as points (site) or polygons (area) and may be related to a specific species or described more generally. Wildlife values data is most often used to support policy and legislation associated with the Crown Forest Sustainability Act. The data may also be used to inform a wide range of resource management activities and decisions. There are additional sensitive features related to provincially tracked species and species at risk that are not available as part of the open data package. Sensitive features are subject to licensing and approvals and may be requested by contacting [geospatial@ontario.ca](geospatial@ontario.ca).

Oil and Gas Associated and Ancillary Permits
Spatial data for approved and post construction features for Canada Energy Regulator (CER) related ancillary features and Energy Resources Activities Act (ERAA) associated oil and gas activities collected on or after October 30, 2006. Associated oil and gas activities are related activities which require the use of Crown land and require an authorization under either the Land Act or the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. The dataset includes polygon features such as campsites, workspaces, deck sites, staging areas, and other temporary disturbances. This dataset is updated nightly.

Martimes Summer Research Vessel Survey
“Summer” missions occur in June, July and August and these focus on the Scotian Shelf and Bay of Fundy (i.e. 4VWX 5Yb, expanding recently to include the Laurentian Channel and Georges Bank (5Zc). Collected data includes total catch in numbers and weights by species. Length frequency data is available for most species, as are the age, sex, maturity and weight information for a subset of the individual animals. Other data such as ageing material, genetic material, and stomach contents are often also collected, but are stored elsewhere.“Summer” cruises occur in May, June, July and August and these focus on the Scotian Shelf and Bay of Fundy (i.e. 4VWX).Cite this data as: Clark, D., Emberley, J. Maritimes Fall Research Vessel Survey
"Fall" missions occur primarily in October and November, but sets from September and December are also present in the data. Collected data includes total catch in numbers and weights by species. Areas of Natural and Scientific Interest
The dataset identifies the location and types of Areas of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSIs) that are commonly used in maps for resource management purposes. Official GEO title: ANSI
