Placer Watersheds - 50k
The dataset contains data for placer watersheds locations. The dataset covers 18 watersheds within the Yukon Territory. The following watersheds form the principle boundaries of the dataset: Big Creek, Big Salmon River, Forty Mile River Indian River, Klondike River, Mayo River McQuesten River, Nisutlin River, Nordenskiold River Pelly River, Sixty Mile River, Southern Lakes (Yukon) Stewart River, White River\*, Yukon River North Yukon River South, Alsek River, Liard River \*Note - A small portion of the headwaters of the Tanana River (Yukon) watershed is associated within the boundaries of the White River watershed .Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Drainage basins of Manitoba.Hydrologic drainage basins found within Manitoba. The Assiniboine River basin is divided to indicate the Shellmouth Reservoir subbasin, to better illustrate local impacts and conditions. Basin names are in English and French.
Bedrock Geology of Alberta, Meteorite Impact Structures (GIS data, polygon features)
This GIS dataset is part of a digital compilation of the bedrock geology of Alberta. It is one of the datasets used to produce Alberta Geological Survey (AGS) Map 600. This dataset contains polygons representing the location and diameter of the Steen River, Eagle Butte, and Bow City meteorite impact craters (astroblemes). The data were created in geodatabase format and output for public distribution in shapefile format. AGS Open File Report 2013-02 presents additional information on data sources related to this dataset.
Project Returns for Riparian Area Assessment of the North Saskatchewan and Battle River Watersheds
The Riparian Area Assessment of the North Saskatchewan and Battle River Watersheds project focused on assessing riparian habitat along lake, creek, stream and river shorelines. The majority of the shorelines of interest were located within the NSR or Battle River watersheds. however, an additional shoreline was also assessed within municipalities that partially intersect, but are not completely contained within, either the NSR or Battle River watersheds. In addition to assessing new shorelines, an important component of this project was compiling data for shorelines that had been previously assessed in central Alberta using the same assessment methodology. these data were combined together to create a single, seamless riparian assessment dataset that contains ~35,400 km of lake, river, stream, and creek shoreline. This dataset was created for the North Saskatchewan and Battle River Watershed Planning and Advisory Councils, as a part of a large scale Riparian Area Assessment in Alberta.

Water Temperature and Level Monitoring in Newfoundland and Labrador Rivers
Water temperature and water level are significant environmental factors affecting ecology of anadromous fish. Large-scale freshwater monitoring networks remain sparse, yet environmental protocols rely heavily on water temperature and water levels to assist decision making on river closures. Our river monitoring project in Newfoundland and Labrador provides river water temperature and river water level for salmon rivers across the province. 72 temperature loggers are deployed across 24 river systems in Newfoundland and Labrador. Temperature loggers are deployed in approximately 30 cm of water and remain in river year-round. Loggers consist of Onset level loggers, tidbit loggers, and pendants or Innovasea minilogs. Some loggers are deployed in duplicate at locations to provide data redundancy in event of equipment loss or failure. Equipment is monitored throughout the season to ensure proper placement in water columns, with downloads taking place during monitoring trips.
