Forestry Resource Roads - 50k
Forest resource roads (FRR) are actively used for accessing forest resources. FRRs are tracked and managed in a road management database. These roads do not represent a complete road network, they should be viewed in conjunction with the Roads -50k - Canvec dataset. Many FRRs are gated with controlled access. There are four categories of roads in the dataset: Forest Resource Roads (act); Forest Resource Access (non-act), Public Access (non-act) and auxiliary roads:- Forest resources road (Act): a road constructed, modified or maintained for the purpose of providing access for forest resources harvesting or management of forest resources that is authorized under subsection 32(1) of the Act, or a road designated as forest resources road under section 73 of the Regulation. These roads were constructed or designated after the Forest Resources Act and Regulation were enacted. - Forest resource access (non-Act): a road constructed, modified or maintained for the purpose of providing access for forest resources harvesting or management of forest resources that is considered a capital investment by the Government of Yukon, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, Forest Management Branch. These roads were constructed prior to the enactment of the Forest Resources Act. - Public Access (non act): a pre-existing public road. In this road network all Public Access is part of the forest resource access network. - Auxiliary access: a variety of access types that do not conform to the above descriptions and may include: research forest trails, skid trails, heritage trails, trails that access forest resources. Visual Landscape Inventory - Screenings (Polygons)
Vegetative or non-vegetative objects alongside major roads and highways preventing passers by from seeing the surrounding landscape
Vegetation Inventory Roads - 40k
The roads and linear features in this data set were compiled and interpreted in association with the Vegetation Inventory (1995-2006). It is a representation of various linear features on the land base. The linear features were classified by the interpreters based on the NTDB classification system for roads and trails, at that time. When used in conjunction with other road or linear transportation networks, there may be duplication of lines and information.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Roads - 250k - Canvec
Transport Features is composed of, among others, the National Road Network (NRN) and the National Railway Network (NRWN). Transport Features entities are: Nautical Facility, Track Segment, Track Junction, Railway Station, Track Crossing, Track Marker Post, Track Structure, Rail Ferry, Road Segment, Road Ferry, Road Junction, Blocked Passage, Toll Point, Aerial Cableway, Footbridge, Trail, Navigational Aid, Marina, and Runway. CanVec is a digital cartographic reference product of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). It originates from the best available data sources covering Canadian territory, offers quality topographical information in vector format and complies with international geomatics standards. CanVec is a multi-source product coming mainly from the National Topographic Data Base (NTDB), the Mapping the North process conducted by the Canada Center for Mapping and Earth Observation (CCMEO), the Atlas of Canada data, the GeoBase initiative and the data update using satellite imagery coverage (e.g. Landsat 7, Spot, Radarsat, etc.).Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Ministry of Transportation (MOT) Landmark Kilometre Inventory (LKI)
The Landmark Kilometre Inventory spatial layer is used primarily by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure (MOT) to represent routes against which accident data and traffic counts are collected. This method describes roads by a four number designation referred to as a segment (i.e. 0375) This spatial layer was created based on Digital Road Atlas (DRA) centerline using linear referencing

Planning Map for Public EV Charging Infrastructure
The Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) aims at addressing the lack of charging infrastructure in Canada, one of the key barriers to zero emission vehicle adoption by increasing the availability of localized charging where Canadians live, work, travel and play. This Planning Map for Public EV Charging Infrastructure identifies priority areas and accounts for available charging infrastructure and expected charging needs with a focus on public corridor charging. To optimize web performance when using the map, it is recommended you zoom into the areas you are exploring. Priority areas are identified on a scale ranging from lowest to highest priority. Public Corridor Charging includes the EV charging needs of those travelling longer distances on highways and major roads. The objective is to ensure that EV drivers can travel over the majority of Canada’s road network connecting most communities in an EV without being limited on vehicle range. The map identifies priority locations within 1.6 kilometres of major roads based on criteria such as, traffic, expected EV adoption and distance between chargers

New Brunswick Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Highway Network
This dataset contains a linear reference network of the roads and highways that are managed by the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DTI). Highways are identified by road name and route number. Roads are segmented by DTI control section identifier and functional class. Note that roads not managed by DTI are not included in this dataset.
Ministry of Natural Resources road segments
Information about roads under Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) jurisdiction may fall within the responsibility of several different ministry branches and including: * Forests Division * Parks, Lands & Waters Branch * Resource access roads The dataset also contains roads not under the jurisdiction of the MNR like municipal roads and provincial highways. These are sourced from the Ontario Road Network.
