Terrain Mapping (TER) Project Boundaries
Terrain Mapping (TER) Project Boundaries (STE_TER_PROJECT_BOUNDARIES_SVW) contains boundaries (study areas) and attributes describing each TER project (project level metadata), plus links to the locations of other data associated with the project (e.g., reports, polygon datasets, plotfiles, legends). This layer is derived from the [STE_TEI_PROJECT_BOUNDARIES_SP](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/1313fac7-2ea1-4c6b-995b-bd421b7ec3c6) layer by filtering on the PROJECT_TYPE attribute. Project types include: TEM, TEMNSS, TEMPRE, TEMSEI, TEMSET, TEMTSM, TSM, TSMREC, TSMDET, TIM, TBS, TBT, TIMSOI, TEMWHR, TEMSDM, TEMPRW, and PEMTBT. TER project boundaries should be used in conjunction with TER detailed inventory polygons which divide the landscape into units according to surficial materials, landforms and geomorphological processes using the Terrain Classification System for British Columbia. TER inventory polygons with full Resources Information Standards Committee (RISC) attributes can be accessed through the [Terrestrial Ecosystem Information (TEI) Data Distribution Packages](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/8fd15e4e-e7b1-4566-81d1-1ff8947bfd46). TER inventory polygons with simplified and amalgamated (concatenated) RISC attributes can be accessed through the [Terrain Mapping (TER) Polygon Attributes](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/caf1ad28-9bd9-4b41-b2f8-928fff115855). Further subsetted data can be found through the [Terrain Stability Mapping (TSM)](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/d800cbc8-0de6-4d57-a3f9-88bcfbdc0769), [Terrain Inventory Mapping (TIM)](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/3f6280a0-11d6-430f-92c5-a4a66023e6a1), and [Bioterrain Mapping (TBT)](https://catalogue.data.gov.bc.ca/dataset/06121ed8-0a75-4a76-b645-182f94418571) records. **Current version**: v12 (2026-06-22)
Land Parcels Line - Surveyed
Surveyed Land Parcel Boundaries consist of the lines required to form the boundaries of the Land Parcels. COGO attributes are associated to the lines and depict the adjusted framework of the cadastral fabric.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Mineral claim adjoining parcels - 50k
When the tenure data differs from the actual post locations on the ground, we use adjoining parcels to show that the area has no open ground.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Projects funded by the EVAFIDI, ZEVIP, and CHRI infrastructure programs
Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) and Electric Vehicle and Alternative Fuel Infrastructure Deployment Initiative (EVAFIDI) qualitative, quantitative, and geographic data set derived from the program database. This data defines the project number, the number of chargers, the name of the promoter, the type of connector, the address, the city, the province, the postal code, the geographical coordinates, the status, the opening date, and the type of contribution agreement for each project funded by the program. The Canada Infrastructure Bank’s (CIB) Charging and Hydrogen Refuelling Infrastructure Initiative (CHRI) aims to reduce transportation sector greenhouse gas emissions by accelerating the private sector’s rollout of large-scale ZEV chargers and hydrogen refuelling stations, helping to spur the market for private investment.Through this initiative, the CIB has dedicated a minimum of $500 million to support the federal government’s goals as part of Canada’s 2030 Emissions Reduction Plan. Technology funding current to April 1 2025.
FRI: Terrain contours
Terrain contours (TRNCNT) is a vector delineation of areas of equivalent elevation, in 5 m classes, as contour lines.Download: Here The Saskatchewan Ministry of Environment, Forest Service Branch, has developed a forest resource inventory (FRI) which meets a variety of strategic and operational planning information needs for the boreal plains. Such needs include information on the general land cover, terrain, and growing stock (height, diameter, basal area, timber volume and stem density) within the provincial forest and adjacent forest fringe. This inventory provides spatially explicit information as 10 m or 20 m raster grids and as vectors polygons for relatively homogeneous forest stands or naturally non-forested areas with a 0.5 ha minimum area and a 2.0 ha median area. Terrain contours (TRNCNT) is a vector delineation of areas of equivalent elevation, in 5 m classes, as contour lines. For more information, see the Forest Inventory Standard of the Saskatchewan Environmental Code, Forest Inventory Chapter.
FRI: Digital terrain model
Digital terrain model (DTMRAW) is an expression of the bare earth orthometric elevation (m). Average value of dwelling (dollars) by census subdivision, 2016
This service shows the average owner estimated value of dwelling for Canada by 2016 census subdivision. The data is from the Census Profile, Statistics Canada Catalogue no. 98-316-X2016001.Value (owner estimated) of private dwelling refers to the dollar amount expected by the owner if the asset were to be sold.In the context of dwelling, it refers to the value of the entire dwelling, including the value of the land it is on and of any other structure, such as a garage, which is on the property. If the dwelling is located in a building which contains several dwellings, or a combination of residential and business premises, all of which the household owns, the value is estimated as a portion of the market value that applies only to the dwelling in which the household resides. For additional information refer to 'Value (owner estimated)' in the 2016 Census Dictionary. For additional information refer to 'Value (owner estimated)' in the 2016 Census DictionaryTo have a cartographic representation of the ecumene with this socio-economic indicator, it is recommended to add as the first layer, the “NRCan - 2016 population ecumene by census subdivision” web service, accessible in the data resources section below.
Digital terrain models on a scale of 1/20,000
Digital terrain models offer a representation of the relief south of the 52nd parallel, in the form of an elevation matrix. This matrix makes it possible to visualize the territory in perspective and to perform three-dimensional spatial analyses, using appropriate software.A module specialized in three-dimensional data processing, such as 3D Analyst or Spatial Analyst, is required to visualize the digital altitude model in three dimensions. This digital altitude model (10-meter pixel matrix) is obtained by processing altimeter data (level curves and elevation points) from ** [topographic databases on a scale of 1/20,000] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/fr/dataset/cartes-topographiques-a-l-echelle-de-1-20-000) **.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
