This data set represents the digital Mineral Resource potential of the Province of Saskatchewan.This dataset represents the mineral resource potential of Saskatchewan. Methodologies used to determine a ranking system of low to high mineral potential areas. 6 being high mineral potential while 1 being low. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse.  They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.

This model is derived from geological, geophysical and other forms of geodata. Feature extraction used deep learning. Predictive modelling made use of the deep ensemble method. Displayed is a Pan-Canadian probability map of mineral potential of graphite. This map was generated using known graphite deposits and occurrences and their associated features. Higher probability values highlight areas with an increased probability of graphite mineral systems.

Quartz Leases are the most secure form of mineral title in the Yukon. Once a vein or lode is confirmed within the limits of the claim, the proponent may apply to lease the subsurface of their claim(s). Typically, companies contemplating production will take their claims to lease which provides secure title and relieves them from their annual work requirement. The grid is designed based on the Mineral Title Online Grid Regulation. The mineral-placer grid does not show current cell availability status. The dataset is very large and cannot be downloaded for the entire province. Try selecting specific mapsheet grids or selecting by an area of interest to download in sections.

This is the spatial view used by Mineral Titles Online (MTO) on the mineral, placer and coal viewers. The spatial view combines the polygon information with attribute information for each title. The Yukon Geological Survey stores a significant amount of geological information gathered by exploration companies in compliance with the Quartz Mining Act. This information is primarily contained in assessment reports (AR). Since 1920, more than 8000 hardrock assessment reports have been collected, with more than 6000 of these containing geochemical data on surficial samples (e.g., soil, rock, stream sediment, and vegetation). The sheer volume and historical depth of these data provide valuable insight into the mineral potential of the Yukon. Exploration companies rely on data from ARs to search for exploration targets. To aid exploration companies, YGS has developed this database to consolidate geochemical data extracted from assessment reports. This database, the Geochemical Assessment Report Data Extracted database (GARDEd), was created by extracting and compiling data from more than 300 assessment reports. GARDEd was initially populated with data from samples within a 75 km radius of the Casino deposit to evaluate the data extraction procedures and assess the feasibility of the database. Data capture focused on recent ARs because these were available in digital format.
