RSQAQ - Hourly Air Quality Index (real time)
Results of the last hour available, in real time, of the [Air Quality Index (AQI)] (https://www.iqa.environnement.gouv.qc.ca/contenu/index.asp) for the stations of the [Quebec Air Quality Monitoring Network] (https://www.environnement.gouv.qc.ca/air/reseau-surveillance/Carte.asp). These results exclude those from stations located on [Montreal Island] (https://www.donneesquebec.ca/recherche/dataset/vmtl-rsqa-indice-qualite-air).The IQA is an information and awareness tool designed to inform the population about the quality of ambient air in Quebec. If you have any questions about this data, contact the Info-Air department:.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Trapping Concessions - 250k
Registered Trapping Concessions (RTCs) are legal boundaries that define an area where the holder of the concession has the exclusive right to trap furbearing animals. Because trapping is done primarily along waterways, RTCs are often defined by watersheds, using height of land (ridges and mountain peaks) as their boundaries. This is the opposite of GMAs which are defined by mountains. Sometimes RTCs are grouped together to form a Group Trapping Concession (in which groups of individual share the right to trap). This may or may not involve the elimination of the component RTC boundaries. The Yukon has 360 RTCs and 13 Group Trapping Concessions. Only Kluane National Park, Kluane Wildlife Sanctuary, and Ddhaw Ghro Habitat Protection are are not covered by RTCs. This data was built using the 1:250,000 National Topographic Data Base (NTDB) as the digitizing base.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . AW Case Outcomes V03
This table contains information about the status, actions and outcomes from inspections conducted by Animal Protection Officers (APO) and prosecutions in the Manitoba Animal Welfare Program. This table contains information about the status, actions and outcomes from inspections conducted by Animal Protection Officers (APO) and prosecutions in the Manitoba Animal Welfare Program for each year, starting in 2016, to the most recent quarter. This data is populated by the Provincial Animal Welfare Database for the Manitoba Animal Welfare Program and is displayed in the Manitoba Animal Welfare Program – Case Outcomes dashboard. The table will be updated on a quarterly basis. Fields included [Alias (Field Name): Field description] StatusGroups2 (StatusGroups2): Includes the status, actions or outcomes that have occurred throughout each assigned case DashboardGrouping2 (DashboardGrouping2): Includes the dashboard element under which the statuses need to be grouped for each assigned case Year (Year): Includes the year, beginning in 2016 to the current year (e.g., 2016, 2017, 2018) Month (Month): Includes the numeric value of all months within a calendar year (e.g., 1, 2, 3) Quarter (Quarter): Includes the numeric values of all quarters in a calendar year (e.g., 1, 2, 3, 4), where quarter 1 corresponds with January, February and March, quarter 2 corresponds with April, May and June, quarter 3 corresponds with July, August and September and quarter 4 corresponds with October, November and December YQ (YQ): Includes the year and quarter of the most recent 12 quarters (e.g., 2021 Q1, 2021 Q2 )
Stock Range
A Stock Range is an administrative area established to coincide with local livestock association areas. Generally, stock ranges are made up of one or more range units. Stock ranges are found in select areas of the province where applicable; not all areas of the province contain stock ranges
Forest Resources Management Plans - 250k
The purpose of this feature class is to identify the individual annual allowable cut and annual limit areas as referred to in the Forest Resources Act subsection 20(2) and 31(10 of the Forest Resources Regulation). Where there is no approved Forest Resources Management Plan (FRMP) for an area, forest resources harvesting can only be authorized in an amount less than that prescribed by regulation for that area. The Forest Resources Regulation subsection 31(1) establishes the annual limits for harvesting timber resources for areas without an FRMP. These areas are referred to as the Annual Limit Regions in Schedule 1 of the Regulation titled Timber Harvesting Areas. These annual limits are set as the annual allowable cut for each of the areas, until such time as a Forest Resources Management Plan is approved for that area.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Total forest volume in Canada 2006
Canada's National Forest Inventory (NFI) sampling program is designed to support reporting on forests at the national scale. On the other hand, continuous maps of forest attributes are required to support strategic analyses of regional policy and management issues. We have therefore produced maps covering 4.03 × 106 km2 of inventoried forest area for the 2001 base year using standardised observations from the NFI photo plots (PP) as reference data. We used the k nearest neighbours (kNN) method with 26 geospatial data layers including MODIS spectral data and climatic and topographic variables to produce maps of 127 forest attributes at a 250 × 250 m resolution. The stand-level attributes include land cover, structure, and tree species relative abundance. In this article, we report only on total live aboveground tree biomass, with all other attributes covered in the supplementary data (http://nrcresearchpress.com/doi/suppl/10.1139/cjfr-2013-0401). In general, deviations in predicted pixel-level values from those in a PP validation set are greater in mountainous regions and in areas with either low biomass or sparse PP sampling. Predicted pixel-level values are overestimated at small observed values and underestimated at large ones. Accuracy measures are improved through the spatial aggregation of pixels to 1 km2 and beyond. Overall, these new products provide unique baseline information for strategic-level analyses of forests (https://nfi.nfis.org)Collection:- **[Canada's National Forest Inventory (NFI) 2006](https://open.canada.ca/data/en/dataset/e2fadaeb-3106-4111-9d1c-f9791d83fbf4)**
Inshore Lobster Trawl Survey
An annual trawl survey is conducted in Southwestern Nova Scotia and the Bay of Fundy to assess the lobster stocks in the area. The survey is conducted with the Northeast Fisheries Science Center Ecosystem Survey Trawl (NEST), a small mesh trawl with a cod end liner, which ensures the capture of various sizes of lobster. The dimensions and location of the trawl are monitored and recorded throughout the tow using an electronic trawl mensuration system. In addition, water temperature and depth are also monitored. The target tow length is 1 kilometer which is tracked using an Olex marine charting system. Vessel crew, DFO science staff and a contracted at sea observer work together to perform required tasks and collect all relevant data. Catch from each tow is separated by species, weighed and counted. Length frequency data is collected on select groundfish and crab species and detailed morphometric data is collected on each lobster.PARAMETERS COLLECTED:Set information and profile - includes set date, time depth and locationCatch summary - weight and number caught of each speciesLength Freqeuncies - completed for up to 100 fish for selected speciesLobster Morphological Data - detailed data collected on each lobsterBottom TemperatureTrawl MetricsNOTES ON QUALITY CONTROL:Data is visually verified and double keypunched. On loading to Oracle, data is run through rigorous automated checks to verify data accuracy and integrity.SAMPLING METHODS:The target tow length is 1 kilometer which is tracked using an Olex marine charting system.
