Ontario Road Network (ORN) Composite
The Ontario Road Network (ORN) Composite product is a segmented derivative of the ORN Road Net Element (ORNELEM) data class. You can use it for mapping and general spatial analysis. Road segment information includes: * addressing * full street name * alternate street name * speed limit * number of lanes * pavement status * road class * jurisdiction * route number * direction of traffic flow * shield type information The ORN is a provincewide geographic database of over 250,000 km of: * municipal roads * provincial highways * resource and recreational roads The ORN is the authoritative source of roads data for the Government of Ontario. This product is derived from the [ORN Road Net Element](https://geohub.lio.gov.on.ca/datasets/mnrf::ontario-road-network-orn-road-net-element/about) data class. It combines three types of geometry: * road elements * ferry connections * virtual roads This product also includes additional road feature layers including: * blocked passages * underpasses * toll points * structures
National Road Network - NRN - GeoBase Series
Notice - Replacement of the English and French Web services (WMS and ESRI REST) with a bilingual one.The NRN product is distributed in the form of thirteen provincial or territorial datasets and consists of two linear entities (Road Segment and Ferry Connection Segment) and three punctual entities (Junction, Blocked Passage, Toll Point) with which is associated a series of descriptive attributes such as, among others: First House Number, Last House Number, Street Name Body, Place Name, Functional Road Class, Pavement Status, Number Of Lanes, Structure Type, Route Number, Route Name, Exit Number. The development of the NRN was realized by means of individual meetings and national workshops with interested data providers from the federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments. In 2005, the NRN edition 2.0 was alternately adopted by members from the Inter-Agency Committee on Geomatics (IACG) and the Canadian Council on Geomatics (CCOG). The NRN content largely conforms to the ISO 14825 from ISO/TC 204.

Manitoba Highway Inventory 2018
An accurate depiction of road structure construction history of the Highway Network in Manitoba.Manitoba Infrastructure, Highway Engineering, Highway Planning and Design (HPD) manages the Highway Inventory System (HIS). This system tracks road structure and construction history of Manitoba's Road Network. Published annually, this layer aids provincial engineers in planning and managing construction projects, both present and future. The department’s linear referencing system (LRS) uses control sections as a linear referencing method (LRM). These control section are further divided into subsections. It is on these subsections that road structure and construction history are tracked in the highway inventory system database. Please note that this feature layer primarily contains only the roads Manitoba Infrastructure is responsible for, i.e. Provincial Trunk Highways, Provincial Roads and Access Roads. It does not include municipal mile or grid roads. However, you may also see Earth Roads (under construction) or Other roads (such as those passing through national parks and are federal responsibility).Fields included (Alias (Field Name): Field description.) RURALROAD OFFICIAL
RURALROAD_OFFICIAL provides the geospatial information of rural municipal road network in the Province of Saskatchewan. It is one of the base layer used to create "Roadseg" layer for Saskatchewan Upgraded Road Network (SURN) and National Road Network (NRN). This data layer contains relatively up-to-date and accurate description of all RM roads in the provinceRURALROAD_OFFICIAL consists of Rural Municipal (RM) road system in Saskatchewan. RM road system is based on the Dominion Lands Survey. Original geometry of this layer is derived from National Road Network data layer. Rural Municipalities are the responsible of the correctness and currentness of the day and Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure (MHI) maintained this data layer/table according to the NRN standards. This data layer is based on the Linear Reference System (LRS) concepts. KM_FROM and KM_TO fields store the start point and the end point at Kilometer information of the line segment. Unique Identifiers NID) is associated with each line segment. The "DESRD_PPID" is the combination of RM Number, Project Number and Road Type (224-201-10). RURALROAD_ID auto generated unique ID for each rural road segment. "NID" National Identifier is used to manage the updates between data producer and data users. RURALROAD_OFFICIAL data layer is one of the important data table for SURN, NRN, SASK911, CAR and other applications.
