The Sexual Violence Prevention Community Mobilization Program is a community-based program designed to mobilize and build stronger community responses to support victims/survivors of sexual violence and to encourage citizens of all ages to take a role in preventing and responding to sexual violence, in a trauma-informed, youth-centered and culturally relevant way.

Most of these events involved community evacuations, significant structural loss and/or involvement of a Ministry of Natural Resources (MNR) Emergency Response Officer. Events include those assigned to MNR by an Order-In-Council under the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act as well as events where MNR provided requested emergency response assistance. These events fall into one of ten type categories: * dam failure * drought /low water * erosion * flood * forest fire * soil and bedrock instability * Petroleum Resource Center event * EMO requested assistance * continuity of operations event * other requested assistance This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.

Each investigation can have one or more cases involved depending on the number of herds or animals exposed.  Not all disease investigations are handled the same due to a partnership approach.  Diseases can be detected via surveillance, ad hoc reporting, or through other programs. 2. Rabies is a separate program. Please see Manitoba's Provincial Rabies Management Program for data related to Rabies Surveillance.3. Certain zoonotic diseases, such as salmonella or influenza, are also captured in more detail through other means.  The total occurrence of a zoonotic disease represented in this dashboard reflects occurrences where risks or exposures were deemed significant enough to warrant further investigation.  4. Historically, One Health Investigations that were predominantly focused on Public Health issues rather than Animal Health concerns were not captured in this system and will be underrepresented here. As the COVID-19 pandemic spreads, researchers and health professionals have noted large differences in the impact that the infection has on individuals. Whereas some remain asymptomatic and unaware of their infection or experience only mild symptoms, others require hospitalization, ventilation, and may even die. As research evidence accumulates, both nationally and internationally, it appears that certain health characteristics, such as obesity or the presence of chronic conditions, increase the risk of severe outcomes among those who are infected with the novel coronavirus.To better understand which segments of the Canadian population may be vulnerable to severe health outcomes related to COVID-19, Statistics Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada have worked collaboratively to build an index of underlying health conditions in the adult household population. Using information from the 2017/2018 Canadian Community Health Survey, new data tables released today estimate the proportion of the adult household population who may be at greater risk of severe health outcomes related to COVID-19 due to the presence of underlying health conditions.

From 2018 on, NatureServe conservation concern ranking categories (e.g., Very Low, Low, Moderate, High, Extreme Concern) supersede the pre-2018 population status categories (e.g., Viable, Threatened, Extirpated) contained in the field STATUS. NatureServe conservation concern ranking categories reflect population size and trend, genetic and demographic isolation, as well as threats to bears and their habitats. The NatureServe conservation concern ranking fields are named CONSERVATION_CONCERN_RANK and CONSERVATION_CONCERN_DESC. Data show where pathogens - fungal, bacillial or viral - have caused damage by reducing growth rates, tree vigor or have killed trees. Examples of forest diseases include White Pine Blister Rust, Armillaria Root Rot etc. The Government of Ontario tracks forest damage events to help proactively manage the detrimental effects to our forests. We monitor the threat and spread of invasive forest pest insect species in Ontario. The data is also important to the Forest Management Planning process in calculating timber volume loss within affected areas.
