Ontario Hydro Network - Watercourse
Watercourses are line features - natural or manmade - that represent the location of flowing surface water. This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
Water Obstacles Line - 250k - Canvec
Hydro Features is composed of the network of Canadian surface waters. Hydro Features entities are: Watercourse, Water Linear Flow, Hydro Obstacle (falls, rapids\...), Waterbody (lake, watercourse\...), Permanent Snow and Ice, Water Well, and Spring. CanVec is a digital cartographic reference product of Natural Resources Canada (NRCan). It originates from the best available data sources covering Canadian territory, offers quality topographical information in vector format, and complies with international geomatics standards. CanVec is a multi-source product coming mainly from the National Topographic Data Base (NTDB), the Mapping the North process conducted by the Canada Center for Mapping and Earth Observation (CCMEO), the Atlas of Canada data, the GeoBase initiative, and the data update using satellite imagery coverage (e.g. Landsat 7, Spot, Radarsat, etc.).Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) . Base Stream and Flow Representation
The Single Line Hydrography Network (SLNET) contains all captured single line representations of hydrographic features. In addition, single line representations of polygonal features and single line arbitrary network connectors are in the file.
Base Stream and Flow Representation Update
The Base Hydrography Single Line Hydrography Network (SLNET) is the Alberta Environment and Protected Areas base SLNET data set. It is an update of the Base Features HydroSLNET in Southern Alberta from orthophoto and various sources of provincial base data. It contains all captured single line representations of hydrographic features. In addition, single line representations of polygonal features and single line arbitrary network connectors are in the file.
Oil and Gas Pipeline Segment Permits
Pipeline centre-lines associated with oil and gas pipeline activity and falling within the area representing the pipeline right of way. This dataset contains line features collected on or after July 11, 2016 for approved pipeline centre-line locations. The dataset is updated nightly.
Water Allocation Notation - Points
Province-wide spatial view showing the most downstream point of a stream, as determined by Water Allocation staff, to have a current or potential water quantity/quality concern. Note: This layer has replaced the older Water Allocation Restrictions view spatial layer. This data is updated nightly.
Hydrometric Monitoring Stations
A station is a site on a river or lake where water quantity (water level and flow) are collected and recorded.
Utility Line
This data set shows utility lines that provide services for: * power * water * communications * heating fuel They include: * communication lines/submerged communication lines * hydro lines/submerged hydro lines * natural gas pipelines/submerged natural gas pipelines * water pipelines/submerged water pipelines * unknown pipelines * unknown transmission lines This product requires the use of geographic information system (GIS) software.
Water Monitoring Sites
A wide range of different territorial, federal, and first nation governments have a role in monitoring water. The water monitoring sites data set compiles these varied sources into a single source with the intent to provide a 'one-stop shop' when searching for water monitoring data. Information contained includes the 'who, what, when, and where' of water monitoring by providing contact information, sample type, sample period, and location.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps) .
