Territory flooded in 2017 and 2019
Since 1 March 2022, the Special Intervention Zones (ZIS) have been lifted. However, the territory flooded during the exceptional spring floods of 2017 and 2019, as illustrated in Annex 2 adjusted to Decree 814-2019, is considered by the Regulation concerning the provisional implementation of the amendments made by chapter 7 of the laws of 2021 on the management of risks related to floods (Transitional Regulation) as an area comparable to a low-current zone. The adjusted Annex 2 corresponds to the delimitation of the territory flooded during the spring floods of 2017 and 2019 in connection with the decree establishing the ZIS published on 15 July 2019, from which the portions of territory covered by the ministerial orders published on 30 December 2019 were subtracted.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
Special intervention zone 2017-2019 (ZIS annex 2), period from 10 June to 15 July 2019 at 11 am
This layer shows the delineation of the perimeter of the Special Intervention Zone (ZIS) ofdecree called “Declaration of a special intervention zone in order to promote bettermanagement of flood zones”. This area was created from a variety of sources ofdata showing the flooded areas of 2017 and 2019. Since the adoption of Decree 817-2019, this dataset is no longer in force. The Strait of Georgia Ichthyoplankton Survey, 1979-1981
Ichthyoplankton surveys were conducted in the Strait of Georgia (British Columbia) during 1979-1981 to ascertain the onset of fish spawning, and to explore distributional pattern and estimate total biomass of fish species.Oblique tows were made using 0.25m2 Bongos equipped with 351 micron Nitex nets of modified SCOR design. All sampling gear was black to minimize potential avoidance and resulting catch bias. The tow procedure generally followed that established by CALCOFI.This dataset contains a compilation of corrected catches of juvenile fishes, fish eggs and fish larvae by station.
Forestry Resource Roads - 50k
Forest resource roads (FRR) are actively used for accessing forest resources. FRRs are tracked and managed in a road management database. These roads do not represent a complete road network, they should be viewed in conjunction with the Roads -50k - Canvec dataset. Many FRRs are gated with controlled access. There are four categories of roads in the dataset: Forest Resource Roads (act); Forest Resource Access (non-act), Public Access (non-act) and auxiliary roads:- Forest resources road (Act): a road constructed, modified or maintained for the purpose of providing access for forest resources harvesting or management of forest resources that is authorized under subsection 32(1) of the Act, or a road designated as forest resources road under section 73 of the Regulation. These roads were constructed or designated after the Forest Resources Act and Regulation were enacted. - Forest resource access (non-Act): a road constructed, modified or maintained for the purpose of providing access for forest resources harvesting or management of forest resources that is considered a capital investment by the Government of Yukon, Department of Energy, Mines and Resources, Forest Management Branch. These roads were constructed prior to the enactment of the Forest Resources Act. - Public Access (non act): a pre-existing public road. In this road network all Public Access is part of the forest resource access network. - Auxiliary access: a variety of access types that do not conform to the above descriptions and may include: research forest trails, skid trails, heritage trails, trails that access forest resources. Yukon Electoral Districts
Electoral district boundaries are defined by the "Electoral Districts Boundaries Act" (S.Y. 2024, c. 14) and as amended. The linework was created by interpreting the 2008 Electoral District boundaries (amended in July 2015), and updating/modifying the boundaries to account for population growth and distribution, as of 2024. These boundaries were drawn and aligned using Natural Resource Canada’s CanVec Topographic Data at the 1: 50 000 scale, as well as the National Road Network (NRN), where applicable. This dataset is suitable for use in spatial analysis, planning, and geographic visualization at regional and municipal levels.Distributed from [GeoYukon](https://yukon.ca/geoyukon) by the [Government of Yukon](https://yukon.ca/maps). Discharge Cases (Spills)
This map data displays environmental discharges (spills) in Saskatchewan with location, confirmed substance and quantity. This data is limited to events that occurred between January 1, 2015 to present. The Ministry of Environment is responsible for responding to incidents where a substance of potential concern has been discharged into the environment. The Environmental Management and Protection Act, 2010 defines this as a discharge, drainage, deposit, release or emission into the environment. We are currently improving how this information is displayed. This map provides information on more recent discharges that were reported to the ministry. For older Spills, please go to our new GeoHub page: Discharge Cases (Spills) historic incidents”Please note: information may take up to 30 days to be updated and is subject to change at any time. For further information, please contact the Ministry of Environment Inquiry Centre (Toll Free): 800-567-4224, email: centre.inquiry@gov.sk.ca or visit: Hazardous Spills Reporting.

Shellfish Water Classification Program – Shellfish Harvest Area Classification in British Columbia
This dataset provides geospatial polygon boundaries for marine bivalve shellfish harvest area classification in British Columbia, Canada. These data represent the five classification categories of marine bivalve shellfish harvest areas (Approved; Conditionally Approved; Restricted; Conditionally Restricted; and Prohibited) under the Canadian Shellfish Sanitation Program (CSSP). Data are collected by Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) for the purpose of making applicable classification recommendations on the basis of sanitary and water quality survey results. ECCC recommendations are reviewed and adopted by Regional Interdepartmental Shellfish Committees prior to regulatory implementation by Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO). These geographic data are for illustrative purposes only; they show shellfish harvest area classifications when in Open Status. The classification may be superseded at any time by regulatory orders issued by DFO, which place areas in Closed Status, due to conditions such as sewage overflows or elevated biotoxin levels. For further information about the current status and boundary coordinates for areas under Prohibition Order, please contact your local DFO office. This dataset is 'Deprecated'.
