Metallic and Industrial Minerals Agreement feature class contains provincial extent polygon features representing Metallic and Industrial Minerals applications, agreements, leases, and licences, with varying term dates and conditions. These applications and subsequent agreements give the holder the right to explore Metallic and Industrial Minerals.

Administrative boundaries called mining divisions were once used for recording claims. This information is now historic. This dataset contains the codes for each of the 24 mining division. For example, 1=ALBERNI, 2=ATLIN, 3=CARIBOO, 4=CLINTON, 5=FORT STEELE. These boundaries are no longer used for current administration. Mining division is needed when submitting the title page for your Technical Work Report. Compilation of drillholes for mineral exploration and Quaternary studies in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada.This dataset is compilation of uranium drillholes prior to 2007, and since that time has expanded to include metallic and industrial mineral exploration drillholes and surficial sedimentology drillholes. This is an ongoing compilation whereby recent drillholes that become publically available are added. In addition, improvements are frequently made to more historic drillholes with spurious information. This polygonal dataset represents authorized applications for a Mines Act permit known as a Permitted Mine Area (PMA). This dataset can be used in combination with the NoW point dataset which represents both applications for a Mines Act permit and issued authorizations for mining activities proposed in the application. **The regional mine PMA dataset is not complete for all mine sites in BC. Regional mine permits are issued for mineral and coal exploration activities, sand and gravel production, quarry production, and placer mining. Major mine permits are issued for producing mineral and coal mines. Permits are issued by the chief permitting officer under section 10 of the Mines Act and administered by the ministry. **Regional mines include:** * Exploration — mineral, coal, rock quarry, industrial mineral or dimension stone * Sand and gravel — aggregate, rock or natural substances used for construction purposes * Placer   Most exploration and development activities require a permit under the Mines Act. A decision marks the end of the permitting process for a NoW application.
