Projected Burn Probability (2020-2100)
The data shared are spatially explicit projections of wildfire burn probability across Canada’s forested ecozones under multiple future climate scenarios at a 30-m spatial resolution. It is developed within the framework of Canada’s National Terrestrial Ecosystem Monitoring System (NTEMS). Four future climate scenarios were used to examine the spatiotemporal distribution of burn probability in the 21st century based on climate, vegetation, and topographic conditions ( Mulverhill et al. 2024). Projected burn probability is provided for four Shared Socioeconomic Pathways (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP3-7.0, and SSP5-8.5) and four future time periods, including 2021-2040, 2041-2060, 2061-2080, and 2081-2100, along with a baseline period representing average climate conditions and burn probability between 1991 and 2020. Outputs represent the probability that the conditions (climate, vegetation, topography) of a given pixel resemble those of historically burned areas. All non-climate variables were held static; therefore, projections represent burn probability under future climate scenarios given contemporary (2020) forest conditions. Electoral Geography Boundary Files (45th General Election) - Canada 2025
The files provided are made available from Elections Canada. The Electoral Boundary Files show the polling divisions and advanced polling divisions used in the 45th General Election on April 28, 2025. The federal electoral districts (Representation Orders of 2023) are also included.
CCSM4-projected ocean temperature and salinity in the Northwest Atlantic under a high emission scenario RCP8.5
This dataset provides projected sea surface temperature and salinity as well as projected ocean bottom temperature and salinity in the Northwest Atlantic under a high emission scenario Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) 8.5. The results are generated by a North Atlantic Ocean-ice Downsling System (NAODS) that downscales the global Climate Change System Model Version 4 (CCSM4) output. NAODS couples 1/12-degree model for the northwest Atlantic with a 1/4-degree model for the North Atlantic (Han et al., 2025). Bi-decadal means are included for 1986-2005, 2006-2025, 2026-2045, 2046-2065, 2066-2085, and 2080-2099, respectively.

HadGEM2-projected ocean temperature and salinity in the Northwest Atlantic under an intermediate emission scenario RCP4.5
This dataset provides projected sea surface temperature and salinity as well as projected ocean bottom temperature and salinity in the Northwest Atlantic under an intermediate emission scenario Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) 4.5. The results are generated by a North Atlantic Ocean-ice Downscaling System (NAODS) that downscales the global Hedley Centre Global Environmental Model Version 2 with an Earth System component (HadGEM2-ES) output. NAODS couples a 1/12 ^o model for the northwest Atlantic with a 1/4 ^o model for the North Atlantic (Han et al., 2025). Bi-decadal means are included for 1986-2005, 2006-2025, 2026-2045, 2046-2065, 2066-2085, and 2080-2099, respectively.
