Wilderness tourism activities
This dataset identifies locations of wilderness and recreation tourism activities. Activities are: fishing, biking, hiking, snowmobiling, rafting, boating, flight seeing, dog mushing, driving tour, off-road vehicle, cross country skiing, canoeing, wildlife viewing. The locations were collected through interviews. Locations and areas were indicated on paper maps and transferred to digital. This is not a complete or up to date dataset. The RFI identifies areas of land and water encircling a recreation feature or combination of features that support, or have the potential to support, one or more recreation activities. These areas are rated for their significance or importance to recreation and for their sensitivity to alteration
Historic silviculture activities - 50k
These are the specific silviculture activities that took place within an opening in order to meet silviculture obligations after a disturbance. These activities may have been conducted over the entire opening or just a portion of the opening, and multiple activities may overlap. Oil and Gas Associated and Ancillary Permits
Spatial data for approved and post construction features for Canada Energy Regulator (CER) related ancillary features and Energy Resources Activities Act (ERAA) associated oil and gas activities collected on or after October 30, 2006. Associated oil and gas activities are related activities which require the use of Crown land and require an authorization under either the Land Act or the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act. The dataset includes polygon features such as campsites, workspaces, deck sites, staging areas, and other temporary disturbances. This dataset is updated nightly.
RESULTS - Activity Treatment Units
An opening's disturbance and silviculture activities reported into RESULTS. Most activities are within opening boundaries with the exception of broadcast treatments. An opening may have more than one activities associated with it. Activities may also overlap each other. Reporting of disturbance and silviculture attribute information is a mandatory requirement while the map is optional. This is part of the Silviculture and Land status Tracking dataset, which includes tracking harvesting and silviculture obligations on Crown Land

Mining activities include information relating to mining operations (active mining), advanced mineral exploration projects (development and development), and exploration properties.**This third party metadata element was translated using an automated translation tool (Amazon Translate).**
