Granular Aggregate
This layer contains polygon features that represent granular aggregate deposits in New Brunswick. ‘Granular Aggregate’ is the term used to describe naturally occurring deposits of sand and gravel formed during the last ice-age when glaciers were melting and receding. These important resources, which are used for infrastructure construction and maintenance.
Uranium Deposit Footprints
This dataset shows the location of the distribution of uranium deposits for the Province of Saskatchewan. This dataset shows the uranium deposits for the Province of Saskatchewan and is designed for the Resource Map of Saskatchewan. Mapping in support of the dataset includes years of field observations which were then compiled and integrated into this dataset. The data was created as a file geodatabase feature class and output for public distribution. **Please Note – All published Saskatchewan Geological Survey datasets, including those available through the Saskatchewan Mining and Petroleum GeoAtlas, are sourced from the Enterprise GIS Data Warehouse. They are therefore identical and share the same refresh schedule.
Bedrock Geology of the Foremost Area (NTS 72E) (GIS data, line features)
This GIS dataset is part of a digital compilation of the bedrock geology of the Foremost area (NTS 72E). It is one of the datasets used to produce Alberta Geological Survey (AGS) Map 568. This dataset represents the compilation of existing geological maps and original geological mapping by AGS staff. Mapping included field observations and creating three-dimensional models of subsurface stratigraphy based on the interpretation of geophysical logs from oil and gas wells. Each three-dimensional formation surface was projected to a model of the bedrock surface, and the intersection formed the first approximation of the position of the geological contact at the base of the surficial deposits. We adjusted these preliminary contacts to honour outcrop data and the interpretation of the bedrock unit immediately below surficial deposits in individual wells. The data were created in file geodatabase format and output for public distribution in shapefile format. AGS Open File Reports 2010-10 and 2011-13 present additional information on data sources related to this dataset.
Predictive model of graphite
This model is derived from geological, geophysical and other forms of geodata. Feature extraction used deep learning. Predictive modelling made use of the deep ensemble method. Displayed is a Pan-Canadian probability map of mineral potential of graphite. This map was generated using known graphite deposits and occurrences and their associated features. Higher probability values highlight areas with an increased probability of graphite mineral systems.

Prospectivity model for clastic-dominated zinc deposits
Prospectivity model highlights areas of Canada with the greatest potential for clastic-dominated zinc deposits. The preferred prospectivity model is based on public geological, geochemical, and geophysical datasets that were spatially indexed using the H3 discrete global grid system. Each H3 cell is associated with a prospectivity value, or class probability, calculated from the best-performing gradient boosting machines model. Model results are filtered to include the top 20% of prospectivity values for visualization purposes.

Post-Paleocene Deposits (GIS data, polygon features)
The Geological Atlas of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin was designed primarily as a reference volume documenting the subsurface geology of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin. This GIS dataset is one of a collection of shapefiles representing part of Chapter 24 of the Atlas, Uppermost Cretaceous and Tertiary Strata of the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin, Figure 22, Post-Paleocene Deposits. Shapefiles were produced from archived digital files created by the Alberta Geological Survey in the mid-1990s, and edited in 2005-06 to correct, attribute and consolidate the data into single files by feature type and by figure.

Pan-Canadian predictive model of Carbonatite-hosted REE and Nb deposits
A predictive model for Canadian carbonatite-hosted REE ± Nb deposits is presented herein. This model was developed by integrating diverse data layers derived from geophysical, geochronological, and geological sources. These layers represent the key components of carbonatite-hosted REE ± Nb mineral systems, including the source, transport mechanisms, geological traps, and preservation processes. Deep learning algorithms were employed to integrate these layers into a comprehensive predictive framework.
