Selected to represent specific enduring features (specific soil attribute combinations based on soil development, parent material, surface form, slope derived from the Soil Landscapes of Canada, Saskatchewan database, Version 2.1). Areas set to protect ecologically representative areas of Saskatchewan's ecoregions.

The OIC's shown are current for each Development Area Boundary. Each has it's original Order in Council (OIC) as well as the most current OIC if there was a change in boundary. Zoning is contained within all Development Area Boundaries.Each Development Area Boundary maintains parcels with unique zoning designations. These polygons represent areas across the Province where motor vehicles are prohibited or restricted year round or seasonally. These areas were created as a visual representation of the Wildlife Act Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulations. Under the Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulation of the provincial Wildlife Act, motor vehicle use on crown land in B.C. may be prohibited or restricted. This data is a summary of the Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulations, and is intended for general information purposes only. Where there is a discrepancy between these maps and the Regulations, the Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulations are the final authority. Motor Vehicle Prohibitions (MVP) are put in place for a variety of reasons. MVPs can be used to: * protect habitat * reduce disturbance and displacement of wildlife * provide areas for hunters on foot, bike or horseback to hunt without motorized vehicles present * reduce hunter harvest while maintaining hunting opportunity   Motor vehicles include but are not limited to: * vehicles * ATVs/UTVs * snowmobiles * motorcycles * electric bikes   For full definitions and detailed regulations, visit the Motor Vehicle Prohibition Regulations website (available under Related Links). There are 2 types of motor vehicle restrictions under the Wildlife Act, and all types can be seasonal or year-round. 1. **Motor Vehicle Closed Area** (formerly referred to as Access Management Areas (AMAs): Prohibits the use or operation of a motor vehicle and e-bike. These prohibitions can be for all motor vehicles, or specific to ATVs/e-bikes or snowmobiles. 2. **Motor Vehicle Hunting Closed Area**: The operation of motor vehicles and e-bikes to hunt, transport wildlife, transport equipment and supplies which are intended for or in support of hunting, or transport hunters to and from the location of wildlife is prohibited. These prohibitions can apply to all motor vehicles, or be specific to ATVs/e-bikes or snowmobiles.

The Forest Management Agreement (FMA) Published Area dataset consists of polygons representing the areas of land where the Province of Alberta grants FMA holders the rights to establish, grow, harvest, and remove timber in accordance with the relevant regulations and policies. Please note that the distribution contact differs for the general public compared to Government of Alberta ministries. Refer to the Distribution Information section of this metadata for the appropriate contact to acquire this dataset.

Areas unavailable for land disposition at this time. This tool is used to enable the orderly development of land in areas of intense spot land application interest by allowing for a Land Development Plan to be undertaken. It may also be used to protect a specific area of land in the process of being transferred to another government (eg. It contains two polygon datasets that help users determine whether a property is affected by requirements in the regulation and a point dataset to help users navigate to propertiesThis is the data for the Winnipeg Airport Vicinity Protection Area Regulation's interactive web map. It was developed to help interested parties determine whether a property is affected by the Airport Vicinity Protection Area Regulation. To protect and foster the airport’s operations and continued growth, while ensuring orderly and efficient development within Winnipeg, the Province has adopted an Airport Vicinity Protection Area Regulation under The City of Winnipeg Charter. The regulation defines two protection areas called "Area 1" and "Area 2".These areas provide direction on where and what type of residential development may take place near the airport. Area 1 comprises of lands immediately adjacent to the airport, where no new residential development will be permitted, except for replacement of buildings and minor infilling. Area 2 is located further away from the airport, where new or replacement residential development may be constructed. All development within the regulated lands must comply with indoor noise level limits set out in the Regulation.  The parcel boundaries in this interactive map are representations of parcels as defined by plan of subdivision or plan of survey registered at the Land Titles Office. This type of property boundary was chosen because the land division in these plans is used to define property ownership in Manitoba.
