Civic Addresses Points WMS for the NWT
This dataset represents points where address site data has been collected. These points are an amalgamation of different origin point data translated into a NG911-compliant schema using ESRI's Address Management Solution as a reference for compliance and data integrity.*This dataset requires extensive QA/QC and should not be used as an authoritative, source only for application-testing purposes*
Fibre Recovery Zones
The Fibre Recovery Zones (FRZ) define areas where increased waste rates may apply to avoidable waste left on a cutting authority as detailed in the Provincial Logging Residue and Waste Measurement Procedure Manual. The boundaries have been approved by the Director of the Forest Tenures Branch, Ministry of Forests, Lands, Natural Resource Operations and Rural Development. Current extent of the data is for the Coast Fibre Recovery Zones only.

Fisheries Contact Boundaries
The Fisheries Contact Boundaries dataset is comprised of all the polygons that represent the Environment and Protected Areas Fisheries Contact Boundaries within the Province of Alberta. The dataset is to help Government of Alberta Staff and external consultants to determine which Biologist is responsible for and has authority over Research Licenses (RL-PAAS and traditional RLs), FWMIS Data Requests, and other Fisheries Management approvals within that region. Forest Tenure Harvesting Authority Polygons
This is a spatial layer that reflects operational activities for harvesting authorities. The harvesting authority is a legal area cleared by the Ministry of Forests and Range (that is, no other claims for the land exist) for harvesting purposes. This corresponds to the outlined areas on the Exhibit A maps. The Forest Tenures Section (FTS) is responsible for the creation and maintenance of digital Forest Atlas files for the province of British Columbia encompassing Forest and Range Act Tenures. It also supports the forest resources programs delivered by the MoFR. Each feature contains a Ministry of Forests and Range (MoFR) FEATURE_CLASS_SKEY (number) column that further defines the type of that feature. The layer contains harvesting authority boundaries for the following feature classes: Christmas Tree Permit (489), Forest Licence Cutting Permit (556), Licence to Cut (615), Timber Licence Cutting Permit (811), Timber Sale Licence Major Cutting Permit (818), Timber Sale Licence Minor (819), Tree Farm Licence Cutting Permit (834), WoodLot Licence Cutting Permit (864), Timber Sale Licence Minor Cutting Permit (917), and Community Forest Cutting Permit (2401). Each harvesting authority has a life cycle status code that is either PENDING - the harvesting authority has been submitted as a new harvesting authority or an amendment, but is not yet approved or rejected, ACTIVE - the harvesting authority is approved and activities may be taking place on the harvesting authority, or RETIRED - all activities have been completed for the harvesting authority
Ontario Vector Topographic Data Cache
The Ontario Vector Topographic Data Cache is a collection of topographic data, that has been preprocessed for fast, seamless display at predefined scales. The topographic data includes constructed and natural features that make up Ontario’s landscape. The cache provides limited data from areas outside Ontario’s boundaries, such as the United States and adjacent provinces and territories. __Technical information__ Two versions of the Topographic Data Cache are available: 1. The traditional raster version is available for a variety of GIS applications and is updated annually. 2. The vector version is suitable for online web map applications as well as modern GIS software and is updated twice a year. Contributing data layers may have different maintenance and update cycles. Some cache layers have been processed in a way that makes it easier for them to be displayed in a mapping product. Other layers are unchanged from the authoritative data. The cartographic symbology used in the data cache is intentionally muted to allow users to showcase their data. The Ontario Vector Topographic Data Cache is created from many source datasets, which are described in the Ontario Vector Topographic Data Cache user guide. Surface Material by Ecozone
The National Ecological Framework for Canada's "Surface Material by Ecozone” dataset provides surface material information within the ecozone framework polygon. It provides surface material codes and their English and French language descriptions as well as information about the percentage of the polygon that the component occupies. Surface material includes the abiotic material at the earth's surface. The materials can be: ICE and SNOW - Glacial ice and permanent snow ORGANIC SOIL - Contains more than 30% organic matter as measured by weight ROCK - Rock undifferentiated MINERAL SOIL - Predominantly mineral particles: contains less than 30% organic matter as measured by weight URBAN - Urban areas. Note that only a few major urban area polygons are included on SLC source maps, therefore, do not use for tabulating total urban coverage
Canadian Gridded Temperature and Precipitation Anomalies (CANGRD)
CANGRD is a set of Canadian gridded annual, seasonal, and monthly temperature and precipitation anomalies, which were interpolated from stations in the Adjusted and Homogenized Canadian Climate Data (AHCCD); it is used to produce the Climate Trends and Variations Bulletin (CTVB).
River Ice in Canada - Current Year
River ice roughness products from the current calendar year in selected Canadian regions that have been designated for observation, monitored by Natural Resources Canada using satellite imagery for emergency response. Coverage is not comprehensive nationwide. In order to mitigate ice jam induced floods risks, Natural Resources Canada emergency geomatics service (EGS) may be activated by Canada’s emergency management authorities. As new satellite imagery becomes available, NRCan will produce river ice roughness maps and update the dataset in near real time (4 hours). This item contains record of the river ice roughness products generated in the current year. Various factors may affect the quality of the river ice roughness maps. Links to download specific EGS product are available in the Resources section.Disclaimer:Emergency response authorities are the primary users of these satellite-derived river ice roughness map products. These products are generated to provide analysis and emergency response situational awareness and to facilitate decision-making during major flood events. The river ice roughness products are generated rapidly and limited time is available for editing and validation. The river ice roughness products reflect the river ice surface roughness conditions at the date/time of acquisition.
